A welcoming family-run hotel in the beautiful Black Forest of Germany!
Beautiful historic hotel conveniently located adjacent to the Hinterzarten train station. Incredibly clean and well maintained, and the staff was personable and welcoming. The breakfast (buffet) and dinner menu offered an ample selection which were all very tasty. Would definitely return if in the area.

A lovely character hotel ideal for a one or two night stopover. Lovely town and surroundings.
We really liked this traditional hotel. It is is full of character with a good restaurant and extensive menu. Lovely breakfast. Good to keep our motorcycle in one of the locked garages. Comfortable room and good WiFi.

Would stay again
Nice chalet style hotel. Spotlessly clean, friendly staff and a fantastic breakfast. I was offered a garage for my motorcycle overnight free of charge, not that there are likely to be any security issues in the town.
Pity their restaurant was closed on Tuesday evenings but their recommended alternative was great.

Wonderful Stay!
The hotel staff were wonderful!! She helped us get our luggage to the room and made sure we had everything we needed. We had a beautiful room with a balcony. The room was clean and spacious. The parking is also free which was so nice. They also have a wonderful breakfast with a ton of selections to choose from. It was the biggest buffet selection we have seen so far. We did not eat in the restaurant for dinner because it was a little expensive. The restaurant was beautiful!! I would definitely stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wish to return soon.
We loved the little glass pots containing individual portions, the huge range of breakfast, the lovely decorations and relaxing atmosphere.
The female waitresses serving in the outside cafe were not very friendly they did seem very happy. We stayed four nights and the shower gel ran out after two nights. It was not replenished, fortunately we had our own supply.
