Relaxing long weekend stay in a lovely location.
This was my 3rd visit to Hotel Thomahof so clearly I have been satisfied. I like the spa and wellness facilities and they were never too crowded. The new rocking beds in the relaxing room are HEAVEN. I think I‘d come back just for them. Food quality is also very good and the rooms are very comfortable and clean. The gym is small but had everything I needed and I had it to myself.
Minor things such as the outdoor pool being covered all the time I was there even though it was heated. I would have liked to swim outside. The sauna was not opened in the morning when I went one day so not sure if I was just the first one there and it wasn’t on yet. I did use it other afternoons and it was lovely. The food portions were small…especially the main courses. Perhaps because the clientele seemed much older than I remembered from before COVID when I previously had visited, the food quantity has been reduced. It was fine, there was plenty of food but the meat provided in the main dishes were really only a few bites.
