Would stay again

Location was excellent and hosts gave lots of useful info in advance. It was very clean and warm. Decorated for Christmas was a nice touch.

Bathroom was a bit chilly despite radiator but I think thats just because its an old building. Noise from upstairs if you're not used to living in a flat.

Cartref, a home away from home

Absolutely everything from the accommodation to the communication between the hosts and myself. The stay was for my fiance's birthday and was made extra special by just how beautiful the accommodation was and the surrounding area. I would recommend this property in a heartbeat and will definitely be returning, only next time for longer.

It had everything in it that we needed. It was close to the river and the town centre and it had a homey feel to it.

A relaxing stay in a perfect location .

The flat was in a quiet location, just a short walk away from the town centre, and more local restaurants and shops. It was clean cosy and well set out. It was perfect as a base for our stay. The host Steve was great and really helpful with information and communication …. We will definitely be back!

A fantastic stay in a beautiful appartment

I had contacted the hosts beforehand to see if they would kindly remove any oil scented sticks, plugins and reframe from using any strong cleaning chemicals or airfreshners due to me having a scent sensitivity. This was done without hesitation and upon arrival the property was scent free and a 'safe place' for me to stay. This was very much appreciated and showed how much the hosts valued their quests in order for them to have the perfect stay. The appartment was beautifully decorated with good quality furniture. A very comfy bed, lovely bedding and everything you needed for a self catering holiday was in the kitchen. Treats left in the basket which was a nice surprise and much appreciated. Our little Frenchie loved the garden at the back which was all secure and safe to leave her to her business. A nice big t.v and comfy sofa to sit on. We loved the lights on the picture rail and It gave off a real homely feel. We had a fantastic few days stay visiting Shrewsbury and the old buildings were amazing to look at. Thank you for providing such a lovely place to stay and we highly recommend this property to stay for a visit to Shrewsbury.I Ali, Nige & Tweenie

The property had everything needed for a weeks stay .. it is near a good local pub and relatively near the park and river. Communication with the owners was easy.

Amazing!

This was a fabulous find! The flat is in a great location, really easy to find and really easy to walk into town. Steve was really helpful in providing info about the property, including how to get in and where to park. The flat itself is lovely, great space and the outside space was unexpected and great for breakfast on a sunny morning. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others!

Absolutely lovely stay !

We loved our 5 night stay! A really lovely apartment with everything you could need. Lovely welcome drink and flapjacks and loads of helpful info left. The host is very communicative prior to stay to ensure you know all about the place and helpful parking info etc. Super friendly and contacted us during stay even to ensure nothing we needed. Apartment is well decorated, homely and very comfy. We had our little dog for part of stay and lounge opens onto outside space so she could go out safely. Equipped with everything you could want really, very clean and comfy bed. Location is perfect for the town. Literally few minutes walk down the hill. Thank you to our lovely host. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

This property is so beautifully decorated and it has a homely feeling. The host has thought about all the needs and comfort. It was clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was beautiful and had all required utensils. The shower was really good. The bedroom was very comfortable. The host had also organised a welcome basket. The backyard was so relaxing.

A beautifully decorated and stylish flat - with everything we might have needed for our stay. Well located with a 2 great pubs nearby and a short walk into town. Great value for money.

Overall our stay at this property exceeded our expectations which lead to an enjoyable stay. The location of the property was ideal with a 5 minute walk to an excellent park and walk along the river, 5 minutes further still and you find yourself in the town centre. All in all the apartment was ideal and will definitely revisit. Although we didn't meet the owner his communication was brilliant, giving us a comprehensive information sheet via WhatsApp.

We will be back!

The flat was super clean. Steve & Sena had communicated all the details really early on and were answering any messages very promptly. The location of the flat is brilliant. Steve's recommendations of where to eat and go were helpful and we loved having cocktails at the Boathouse & a walk along the river.. We also watched a play in Theatre Severn which was a few walking minutes away. The bed & pillows were the most comfortable we've ever experienced and we both slept incredibly well. The kitchen was well equipped. We thought it was super sweet that Steve & Sena welcomed us with a complimentary beer, G&T and some flapjacks. The welcome pack detailed how to use the heating and anything else in the flat. They literally thought of everything. Very impressive!

In one word: superb

I got that 'wow feeling' when I walked in. It felt like being at home. A warm and nice place. Lovely decorated. And very clean. Spotless. Last but not least: Steve the host is very helpful.
