A bit unloved.

Good communications and entry to the property.

No instructions/welcome booklet for anything inside the property. The lounge would benefit from more lighting! We weren't sure about the bedding as each bed seemed to have 'bits' in it.

Comfortable settea in living room and comfortable bed. 10 minutes car ride into Shrewsbury. Not your normal holiday let.

Several areas in the house need tidying up and turf in back garden would improve outlook.

Cheap for a reason

Quite cul-de-sac, warm and close to the park and ride, supermarkets etc..

A little maintenance and cleaning would make it a nicer place to stay. E.g. clean the windows, fridge, oven, replace the mouldy silicone around the bath, a bathmat, clean the crumbs from the cutlery drawer, some utensils, provide fresh tea towels, better mattresses, replace the cracked mirror, tidy up the garden and repair the fence. If you want fresh coffee, bring your own cafetiare!

It was dirty - mugs were marked from previous users, air fryer was filthy. Host was excellent responding very quickly. House as in the pictures, spacious rooms, kitchen had everything needed, good tv, comfy couches. Always got a parking space.

An unattractive house

The location is ok on the outskirts of Shrewsbury with easy access.

The house was run down, there were stains on the beds, the bathroom door could not lock. The kitchen was greasy, the garden looked like a dump with furniture lying around. When we wrote to the landlord he did not reply.

Very Good

Very good service if we needed advice on anything about the house and when asked if we could have an extra hour on the 11am checkout, was very quickly answered and happily allowed at no extra cost. It was clean and tidy and in a nice quiet location, would definetly stay again.

The only small thing was just the amount of tea, coffee, sugar. It says it’s available for us to use but was limited to one cup if tea each and we never took any as we thought there was more than what was available.

House was nice but uncomfortable beds VERY old and unclean bedding.

Easy to get the key and the host was lovely over the phone. 3 people stayed and we all had a room each and a double bed each Bonus. Just a base to sleep for night as was out all day and night.

Each bed was really uncomfortable. Each bed had the thinnest oldest duvet and duvet cover you could imagine. The beds were all dirty and I even took photos. We found some new pillows and used them, but none of us were comfortable. The mirror was cracked in one bedroom. There was make up stains in the other bedroom and stains on the bed. The window in the living room would not lock and was open all night.

Felt uncared for. Walls Needs painting, peeling roof, creaky and unstable bathroom floor. Mattresses are not great. Lovely outside space could be made more attractive and no key to open the double doors. Chairs were dirt and uninviting. Covers would help. Back fence has a whole with crate covering it. Great house and at a great price

House was very clean with bedding and towels provided. There was also tea and coffee in the cupboard. Ideal for dogs with a large enclosed garden. Heating was already on when we arrived. Only a 10 min taxi from the centre of Shrewsbury. Highly recommended especially for the price it was difficult to beat.

Nothing especially for the price if theres a group of people its much cheaper and more comfortable than any hotel.

Fine for an overnight to visit Shrewsbury while travelling through.

10 minutes or so drive from Shrewsbury. Was clean, quiet and comfortable. Wi-Fi worked and shower was hot and had good flow.

It’s poorly finished (although this is mostly cosmetic things) - for example peeling paint in bathroom, bath panel coming off, skirting boards not properly fixed on, etc. The shower is over the bath which has very high sides - and that was hard for my mum to get in and out of. There was no parking space available in the carpark area and we had to park on the roadside.

A little dated but perfect for a pit stop to break up our long journey. The neighbours were lovely too and the house had everything we needed.

Not the cleanest sofa and the walls could do with a lick of paint. But it was minor and suited our needs perfectly. The take away menus were greatly appreciated.

Great property for work stays near Shrewsbury

Lots of room, comfy sofas, free parking, 5-10 min drive from centre.

Bedding and duvets very thin. Light in one bedroom doesn’t work, washing machine very loud and moves it’s way across the kitchen.

kitchen was lovely and everything was easy to find

noticed a lot of damage in places that was just covered up as a quick fix however nothing detrimental and on arrival a strong smell of bleach that lasted for a day or two.

Low maintenance

We like that there was 3 bedrooms. Sheets and towels were clean.

The bath tub leaked through the ceiling in the hallway. Maintenance standards were definitely low, light switches hardly work and lights flicker.

Super Disappointed

It was large as described.

I’ve stayed at a lot of places and this was unfortunately the worse by some distance. The description says ‘quiet’ it was not that! It was in a very rundown part of town; we were greeted by loud karaoke and drunken people all around and no parking. The shower leaked through the floor to run down the walls downstairs. when we reported this we were told it had been fixed but they would send someone to look. The neighbours all said they had keys or knew the combination to the drop box (not secure at all) and would let the plumber in. Even after a visit it leaked! No dining table was an issue and completely under-equipped kitchen; not even a chopping board! the beds were very old and uncomfortable and the sheets didn’t fit. The garden was a waste land and the cheapest furniture I’ve ever seen. Really disappointed as for a few extra £ we could have stayed in a hotel with breakfast included. we won’t be back!
