Rose Cottage

The cottage whilst being compact is very nice inside. Lots of nice touches. The Nespresso coffee machine worked well. Good size fridge freezer. Lots of hot water at any time. Front door opens directly into the cosy lounge. There's a doorway into the kitchen diner space. There's a door leading into the under stairs toilet. There's steep stairs to the 1st floor where there is a bedroom with double bed and open hanging space. The only bathroom is also at this level and it's really spacious with a walk-in shower, good hand basin and separate wc. A door off the landing leads to steep stairs to the 2nd floor attic bedroom with low beam as you enter, angled ceiling and 2 single beds. There is no hanging space, just room to place suitcases.

There is just the one bathroom, not 2 as listed in the details. For us this was a major negative.

Excellent cottage. Great location. Fabulous host.

Location was great. Easy to walk into town. Very clean. Well stocked kitchen. Lots of kitchen appliances Comfy beds.

No hanging rail in the loft bedroom. An extra easy chair in the lounge to accommodate 4 adults. The upper stairs were very challenging.

It was nice and cosy but more space than you’d first think.

Was mostly great. There was a slight smell from the toilets at night but I wouldn’t think that’s the property’s fault, was just the only negative thing I noticed.
