The house was beautifully decorated and cozy , really clean and smelt lovely , the beds were comfortable and the shower was amazing. The house was within walking distance of everything, I messaged Liam (the host) a couple of times and he responded almost instantly he was really helpful and polite.
There was a lot of stairs that were quite steep so if you have mobility issues I'd keep that in mind , also the kitchen ceiling is very low , my partner is 5ft 11 and he had to duck down in parts of the kitchen

Convenient location and nice host
The lock on the entrance door doesn’t work well

Location was perfect making the best of Shrewsbury totally walkable. The old building is quirky and fun to stay in.
There's a couple of repairs needed, for example a broken window in the bathroom. The top floor was very warm and only one of the windows could be opened meaning there was no through draft. A fan would be great for hot days.

Great location and cute, great shower room. Good response time from the owner to queries and thank you for the tea towels.
Kitchen needs updating, not possible to work out the settings on the oven, needs replacing. Was not laid out for new tenants, no tea towels, oven wasn’t working and dirty oven trays in the oven. Had to search for towels and no shower mat. Could do with water glasses too.
