Charming 2 Bed House in Central Shrewsbury

Location was perfect making the best of Shrewsbury totally walkable. The old building is quirky and fun to stay in.

There's a couple of repairs needed, for example a broken window in the bathroom. The top floor was very warm and only one of the windows could be opened meaning there was no through draft. A fan would be great for hot days.

The house was gorgeous and well appointed with lovely bedding and clean towels. It was perfectly located and had everything we could possibly want.

The door is slightly tricky to open and close

Location was excellent for our needs, very close to the town centre 3-minute walk. Also very close to bars and restaurants - we stayed midweek, so it wasn't too noisy. Comfortable beds and clean bathrooms.

Beds, linen and bathrooms were clean, but overall it could have done with a deep clean - in particular, the kitchen cupboards and drawers felt tacky. We found an open packet of rock-hard sugar and old instant coffee sachets in a grubby cupboard, plus a small bag of rubbish left on the side not a catastrophe, but a bit disappointing to see the lack of care. No complimentary tea/coffee/etc. Not expecting full packets/jars, but a small selection as a welcome upon our arrival would have been nice. No complimentary toiletries. The previous place we stayed at in Shrewsbury and the house my other sister stayed in had full kitchen and bathroom complimentary items. Would stay again if nothing else is available, but would go prepared with supplies and rubber gloves.
