Easy parking and good directions to get there.

Not the most comfortable, porch front door doesn’t shut, everything felt a bit cheap and neglected.

Very happy with the house, I will back for sure!

Easy instructions and we had to contact the owner re heating and he phoned us straight away and arranged a boiler engineer to sort problemon Xmas eve so service was excellent from the host

The porch door was very stiff to open and front door sometimes difficult locking

I like how or bedding was clean and so towels. You could tell it was cleaned by a proper laundry service as the laundry service bags were in the wardrobe in the double bedroom

The main door, after the porch, looked as though someone had attempted to kick it in. There was a noticeable gap between the lock and the door frame, the door was bowing, and the wood at the bottom was damaged, which didn't give a good first impression. The batteries in the downstairs TV remote had run out, and the clock in the living room had also stopped because its batteries were flat, so it showed the wrong time. Overall, the property was in need of some TLC. Unlike some previous reviews, the property did not have a damp or dog smell, which was a positive. However, the carpets were not clean, and there were spiders and cobwebs in the corners of most rooms, suggesting the property had not been cleaned thoroughly before our arrival. In the double bedroom, I unfortunately stood on several pieces of glass that had been left in the carpet by previous guests, which cut my foot. Thankfully, the injury wasn't serious, but I certainly wouldn't expect to find broken glass in a holiday property's carpet. With a thorough clean, some general maintenance, and a fresh coat of paint throughout, this could be a lovely place to stay, as the location is excellent. It's just a shame that the property appears to have been neglected.
