We arrived a little later than expected but we were informed that someone would meet us in the restaurant, this was fine and everything was straight forward

Lovely quiet site. Lodge situated in a lovely spot and lovely inside.
There where quite a few cobwebs and a few dirty areas behind doors and the bin. The bedding was very used looking with a hole in the double bed cover. There was a stain on the main bedroom net curtain.
There where no mattress & pillow protectors on the double bed. You were only given one towel per person and one toilet roll in each toilet.

The location, very spacious and clean and relaxing
The heating didn’t work and wasn’t resolved during our 2 night stay, although the staff were very attentive when it was reported.
Dogs and cream carpets and upholstery was a bit stressful, especially in the rain
