Foxglove Lodge with Hot Tub

We had such a beautiful stay at Foxglove Lodge with Hot Tub. From the moment we arrived, everything felt calm, clean, and well looked after. The lodge itself was spotless and really comfortable, making it easy to settle in straight away. Local shops were about a 20-minute drive away, which was manageable, and we even made a day trip to the beach, which is around an hour away, definitely worth it. We came back and cooked a lovely dinner together, and the lodge had everything we needed to make it feel like home. One of the highlights for us was the hot tub, especially in the morning with the sun shining. Sitting there with a cup of tea, soaking in the warmth and peaceful surroundings, was just perfect. Overall, it was the ideal place to relax, unwind, and enjoy quality time. We would definitely recommend. 10/10.

The only thing we would change is the check-out time, as it is 10am. We completely understand this is to allow cleaners to come in, but having the option of a slightly later check-out, at noon at an additional cleaner fee, would be a lovely touch.

Really nice and spacious, good kitchen facilities, comfortable beds. Good hot tub.

Bath still had soap suds/hair on arrival. Water wasn’t hot in the bath so couldn’t run only use the main shower. Bottom shelf in the fridge was missing so couldn’t store milk in there.

Spacious, comfortable, relaxing environment with a well stocked kitchen. Beautiful surroundings, great facilities and friendly staff.

The sunken hot tub was difficult for some to access. Otherwise very minor, it would be helpful to have a kitchen welcome pack with a cloth and a couple of dishwasher tablets, and some kitchen towel.

lovely location, clean and well looked after site. couldn’t fault the lodge, beautifully decorated and lovely and cosy.

unfortunately despite the description stating no parties, we were next door to a lodge which was hosting a party of 8 - 10 people for the weekend. lots of alcohol, swearing and loud music meant we had no alternative but to leave the lodge a night early. i tried to call the emergency number provided but was unable to speak to anyone.
