A completely ruined trip disguised as a ‘private’ getaway.

Absolutely nothing was good about the place

I booked this villa specifically for privacy, which is exactly what was advertised. but what I got was the complete opposite. Let me be very clear: there is absolutely nothing private about these “private” pools. My entire villa was visible from the neighboring units, and anyone passing by could look straight into my pool and bedroom. The worst part? A group of naked men were standing right in front of my villa, staring directly at us. When I complained, the manager casually said, “The river is public” and that there was nothing they could do about people looking inside my room and pool. So much for “privacy.” The villa itself felt abandoned and completely open to the jungle. From the moment I walked in, insects, lizards, and all kinds of creatures were already inside. A frog literally jumped on me while I was on the bed. That was the final straw. I left within two hours of arriving, and I had booked for three nights. This was, without exaggeration, one of the most disappointing and unacceptable stays I’ve ever experienced. Nothing here matched what was advertised. If you value privacy, comfort, or even basic cleanliness, do yourself a favor and avoid this place completely.

Totally private and beautiful villa with private pool. Super comfortable bed and good facilities with food available to order directly to the villa.

I didn’t like only having a curtain downstairs and no door, plus even though there’s a door to upstairs bedroom, there is a large gap above that bats etc can get in.

Being so immersed in the nature and open, it’s easy for small animals and insects to enter, which can make it a bit annoying if someone is paranoid about it. The mosquito nets on the beds and the glass-door isolated room upstairs do their trick though.

Beautiful setting, but the experience was stressful and not worth an overnight stay.

The villa is beautiful, especially with its riverfront view and bamboo-themed design — it really stands out visually. It's also quite spacious, with different areas inside the room to relax and enjoy.

I would only recommend this place for a short day visit, if at all and only if you're with a group of friends who plan to stay indoors the entire time. Even then, I wouldn't really recommend it. The location is extremely remote. While we knew it was far, we didn’t expect there to be nothing nearby — no shops, no restaurants, and no way to walk around safely. It gets pitch dark at night, and there's no transport service available, making it really difficult to get in or out once you're there. The food at the villa was disappointing, and ordering through Grab took over an hour. The worst part was that we saw a snake-like lizard (or possibly a snake) trying to get into our room at night — terrifying, especially with no staff around to help. Overall, our experience was stressful and far from relaxing. I wouldn't recommend staying overnight — it just isn’t worth the anxiety. Despite having such a beautiful view, the pool was pointless as the water was extremely cold.

Absolute superb accommodation and location to wind down and relax,, all meals were cooked and served by hosts , with a nice variety,, magnificent. Went snorkelling for a couple of hours and hosts organised driver and guide,, great fun

Wspaniały pobyt którego się nie zapomina

Miejsce robi olbrzymie wrażenie. Zdjęcia nie oddają uroku. Widok bajkowy, wymarzone miejsce na randkę.

Wszechobecne duże mrówki co oczywiście nie jest winą gospodarzy ale są i albo się trzeba z tym pogodzić albo pryskać sprayem udostępnionym przez gospodarzy. Dodatkowo co jakiś czas można było natknąć się na pijawki które były też w basenie. Po naszym zgłoszeniu oczyszczono basen i wsypano chemię co spowodowało iż dzieci nie mogły skorzystać z basenu. Za to następni koście mają już basen bez pijawek 😊

Malheureusement du fait de la rivière l’environnement est très humide et les draps sentaient donc l’humidité… Il ne faut pas avoir peur des reptiles et grenouilles! :-) Le petit déjeuner était déplorable, pour le prix de la chambre c’est une honte!

O experienta interesanta

Locatie intima in jungla si aproape de rau, lenjerie, prosoape, oglinzi, podea, piscina, baie, foarte curate - nu inteleg review-urile negative in legatura cu curatenia. Mancarea de la cina + micul dejun servit la ei a fost mediu, portiile comandate la cina destul de mici. La check out am contactat soferul pus la dispozitie de cazare si ne-a luat fix dublu fata de grab (nu poti comanda grab in acea zona unde este cazarea) - cumva e si normal, tot atat iti lua si un taxi local - chiar mai mult putin.

Daca nu iti asumi ca esti in jungla, atunci dupa lasarea serii vei surpins de zeci de broaste prin casa (pe tavan + la colturi), soparle, veverite, lipitori, lilieci, niste gandaci zburatori de vreo 7 cm, varani mici pe tavan de aproximativ 40 - 60 centimetri + alti varani de 1 metru - 1,20 metri in afara cazarii la aproximativ 20 m de piscina. Chiar si asa, merita nota 10 cazarea.

Logement magnifique en pleine nature, isolée comme nous le souhaitions. Le personnel est adorable et réactif. Rapport qualité prix excellent pour ce genre de maison en bamboo avec piscine. A quelques pas, balades à pieds au milieu de belles rizières.

De slaapkamer onder had geen ramen en boven kon je ook niet helemaal afsluiten - daar moet je wel van houden

Très bel endroit mais bruit infernal

Très belle maison en bambou avec un vue sur la rivière.

Nous n’avons pratiquement pas dormi de la nuit à cause du bruit infernal de la rivière qui passe devant la maison. Nous ne pouvions même pas nous entendre parler. Je ne recommande pas cet endroit !

De plek is erg mooi en je hebt echt het gevoel midden in de natuur te staan.

En dat was voor wellicht een beetje te veel. Erg mooi en leuk voor een keer. Maar slapen door het geluid van de hard stromende rivier en alle dieren was voor ons eens en niet meer.

Sauber. Toller Pool mit erfrischendem Wasser. Mitten in der Natur. Wie auf den Bildern. Alles perfekt. Nachtessen wurde uns ins Haus geliefert. Riesen grosses Haus. Die Dusche ist der Hammer.

Lieu tout simplement idyllique. On est sincèrement coupés du monde. Le personnel est réactif, à l’écoute. Le petit-déjeuner est super. À 1/2h de marche, il y a la ville ainsi qu’un petit restaurant pas cher, où on mange pour environ 3€ / personne.

El paraíso perdido en la jungla

La casa, espectacular. El enclave, en plena selva. Las vistas, la piscina infinity,el gusto en la decoración, entera hecha con bambú. El río bajo la habitación, al estar entera abierta parecía que estabas durmiendo a la intemperie. Una maravilla de sitio, el paraíso. El personal encantador y entero a muestra disposición, le pedimos un cargador de Iphone y fueron a comprarlo, en 5 min lo teníamos, pedimos un driver y también nos lo gestionaron. Totalmente entregados en agradar y satisfacer cualquier tipo de necesidad. Pedimos un masaje, y en 15 minutos, teníamos a las señoras allí, fue uno de los mejores masajes que me he dado en Bali.

La ubicación. Selat, esta bastante apartado de todo, muy complicado llegar, y hacer excursiones o moverte una odisea. Es como si estuvieras literalmente en la selva, en todos los aspectos, lugareños, caminos. Ideal para desconectar y no hacer nada!!!! Si quieres escapar del mundo, este es tu sitio ideal!
