A different experience of eco living

Great experience of being in a private peaceful natural environment. For us one night was plenty for the novelty factor.

We liked the remote environment and location near rice fields, a river and jungle. We were comfortable and it was clean. There were frogs, some insects and noise of the jungle which was expected and part of the charm. Staff very happy to help and receptive via WhatsApp

It is remote so if you haven’t your own transport it’s a bit tricky. Their food is ok for one night but sideman village itself is 20 mins away for more choice. The light switches are all over the place so a bit of hunting to turn lights on, and there was no hot water as previously mentioned. I did call them to rectify which they did but when I went to shower half an hour later there was not hot water again. I didn’t call them back but they would have come and fixed it. Again. Take your own bottled water.

Relaxing on the bamboo villa

The villa was very nice and comfortable, and the views of the river and nature were great

Hot water in the shower was not working (hopefully they will fix it for next guests ) The food was very simple but ok

This place is exactly what they tell you it is, an eco lodge in the jungle. It’s amazing for couples

The property is very aesthetic. It’s like a dream waking up every morning looking through the bamboo structure to high level hammock into the jungle over looking a lake. It really is what Bali dreams are made of. I wouldn’t say this is a long stay place, it’s an amazing experience for a couple of nights. The service from the staff was good, they do try their best to accommodate you and communicate through watsapp really well. My husband had a massage in house which he rated. It’s a good location to explore the east side of Bali. The local supermarket also delivered to us which was extremely helpful.

The menu choice is very limited, it’s worth bearing in mind if you are staying more than a couple of nights. For us, we had our two children with us, it’s probably not the best fit for kids, they loved how cool the place was but it’s just not safe really for children under 8 if I’m being frank. We travelled with a 4 year old and 12 year old so they were able to stay together but I was a bit worried my 4 year old would wander. There’s a steep drop and no walls to keep them ‘contained’. The menu was hard for them too.

Ein Bambustraum

Unglaublich schönes, großes Bambushaus mit zwei Ebenen. Alles ist offen und luftig. Ein Moskitonetz sorgt für tierfreies Schlafen. Outdoor Dusche, zwei Toiletten, Doppelwaschbecken - alles an frischer Luft - herrlich. Man ist total für sich, das Personal ist jederzeit über WhatsApp erreichbar und bringt Frühstück und Abendessen zum Haus an den Essbereich. Pool mit schönem Dschungelblick. Direkt vor der Anlage an der Straße sind schöne Reisterrassen

Vraiment incroyable, tout est super beau et spacieux, c’est du luxe. Le personnel est au petit soin avec nous et la nourriture proposée est très bonne. La bamboo house est magnifique, vraiment, c’est sublime.

Prima huisje, leuke ervaring, maar sommige zaken kunnen echt beter.

Leuk huisje, omgeving nabij Sidemen top. Wel een beetje afgelegen, dus je hebt vervoer nodig. Personeel was fijn en behulpzaam. Er werd snel gereageerd op verzoeken. Verwachtingen moet je wel bijstellen, het is een huisje midden in de jungle. Het huisje is een open concept, dus hou daar rekening mee. Voor ons was het een leuke afwisseling met de luxe villa's. Ook fijn om van hieruit de oostkant van bali te verkennen.

Locatie erg afgelegen. Als het regent vrij weinig te doen in de omgeving. Alles is klam en muf. Gordijnen, klamboe, handdoeken etc zijn aan vervanging toe. Mag echt wel in geïnvesteerd worden. Neem oordopjes en een slaapmasker mee: gordijnen dekken niet alles af en je hebt continue geluid van de stromende rivier. Eten op de accommodatie was ondermaats helaas, maar ze hebben ook geen restaurant. Het was niet mega slecht, maar ook echt niet top.. oh ja, warm water was er ook onvoldoende. Daar mag ook wat aan gedaan worden!
