Hidden Bamboo Village

Absolutely stunning little villa, really private and cosy with a proper Bali jungle vibe! The pictures do not do the place justice how pretty it was with the outside bathroom which really topped the place off! We loved the net you could sit on above the pool to see the views also! The hosts were really helpful too organising transport from the airport and stopping for us to get food on the beach was a really nice touch! Would absolutely stay here again

The location was a bit out of it but we were aware before booking so you do need some sort of transport to get anywhere

Such lovely accommodation. Beautiful family. Ayu will do anything for you. I lost my credit card and Ayu and her brother spent a whole morning travelling to the location to pick it up once it was found. Her brother Agung is an excellent driver and he, or another family members are available at extremely short notice to take you anywhere you want. Prices are reasonable. Frogs, roosters and dogs were not bothersome if you wear ear plugs. In fact listening to the frogs at night was lovely. Ayu allowed us to use her scooter at any time and we really enjoyed using this to get to warungs and smaller places. We have never driven a scooter before and at 59 were a bit nervous but we ended up really enjoying getting about on the scooter. The villa is somewhat out of the way and if traffic is bad, then getting around can take some time, but if you are happy to use a scooter and/or the family's driving services, you can get to wherever you need. Patience, timing the traffic and allowing some extra time to get places might be necessary. The accomodation was supplied with softdrinks, savoury snacks and fruit. Whatsapp communication with Ayu was excellent - fast, immediate and efficient.

Are you a dog lover? If you are be warned, that in the Sideman and Selat area, dogs are not well cared for and it can be confronting if you are a dog lover like me. This is of course not the fault of the accommodation and many other areas in Bali are sadly the same.

Beautiful property, exactly like pictures. Hosts were very welcoming and friendly, trying to make sure we felt comfortable and had everything we needed. Including taxi service 1hr away the day we left, for an extra cost but the price was very fair!

It was a bit noisy when trying to sleep due to a barking dog and frog sounds, but this was beyond their control, and they kindly apologised for it.

We found our hidden family members they were amazing taking care of us.Yummy breakfasts every morning, proud trips to temples and waterfalls and our transfer to our new accommodation we're all taken care of by Ayu😇🥰🙏

Everything about this villa is best. If you want to run away from the chaos of city then Hidden Bamboo Village is the place to be. Not too far from Ubud market. Hidden Bamboo Village Villa is such a peaceful little escape! The bamboo design gives it a very cozy and homely vibe, surrounded by greenery that makes you instantly relax. The room are clean, comfortable, and beautifully set up for a calm stay. Big shout out to Agung and his whole family for taking such good care of us. They are super friendly and always make you feel at home. It’s the kind of place where you can just unwind by the pool, enjoy the quiet, and soak in nature. Also the food here is super delicious . A perfect spot if you’re looking for a hidden getaway that feels warm and welcoming. 💛

Det var virkelig et fantastisk sted med nogle søde værter! Der var god morgenmad, alt var rent og servicen var virkelig god! De lokale i byen var også så søde og vi nød virkelig vores ophold!

Hvis du skal have transport langt væk, så bestil i god tid eller spørg de søde værter. Transport til de omkringliggende byer var intet problem med Grab.

Sehr schöne Bambusvilla mit eigenem Pool, offenem Bad und toller Ausstattung. Die Gastgeber sind sehr herzlich und freundlich und kümmern sich um alles. Die Lage ist 15-20 min von Sidemen entfernt, es ist also etwas außerhalb gelegen. Was aber überhaupt kein Problem für uns war.

Vrai charme de la villa bamboo, tout était magnifique! Vraiment beaucoup de charmes. Le service également, mettant quelques boissons gratuites à dispositions et une restauration à domicile

Le bruit aux alentours, le manque de climatisation, mais la villa est assez ouverte vers l’extérieur , + il y a un ventilateur (bien que pas pratique avec la moustiquaire)

Tout était vraiment beau, la piscine, le décor, la salle de bain, l’hôte est vraiment à vos petits soins quelque soit votre demande elle y répondra dans la minute! C’est très dépaysant!

Globalement tout était parfait, attention cependant à bien vérifier l’emplacement car vous êtes très reculer de Sidemen et autre activité à faire aux alentours, les routes autour sont très compliqué, nous avons cette fois préféré faire appel à son chauffeur au lieu de prendre un scooter, ce qui reviens très vite chère car il est à votre disposition toute la journée. Ce ne sont pas des critiques mais des points importants à savoir car Sidemen est très rustique et authentique contrairement au reste de Bali.

Ein traumhafter Aufenthalt! Die Hütte mit privatem Pool hat uns eine völlig neue Erfahrung geschenkt. Alles war wunderschön und sehr gepflegt. Die Besitzer sind sehr herzlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Wir konnten unkompliziert einen Roller leihen und das Frühstück wurde auf Wunsch auch vegetarisch serviert. Die Unterkunft liegt etwas außerhalb, aber mit dem Roller ist Sidemen schnell und gut zu erreichen. Absolut empfehlenswert, wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Nachts wird es durch Insekten und Frösche rund um den Pool etwas lauter. Wer einen leichten Schlaf hat sollte das wissen. Uns persönlich hat es nicht gestört.

Niveau personnel très bien accueillant, serviable et très gentil. L’endroit est magnifique, très calme et très mignon.

Tout était parfait ! Nous avons réservé de dernières minutes pour 3 nuits. Toute la famille s’est organisée pour faire un check in express. L’endroit est calme, en pleine nature mais reste à proximité en louant un scooter sur place. Les petits déjeuners sont très bons, la nourriture proposée pour le dejeuner et dîner également, tarif très correct. C’est un vrai havre de paix, foncez vous ne serez pas déçus. Wifi correct, eau chaude en permanence, belle douche balinaise et baignoire. Contact whatsapp possible en permanence avec l’hôte si besoin. C’est simple on ne voulait plus partir, on aurait ajouter des nuits si on le pouvait. Merci pour tout !! Digne d’un service 5 étoiles, on vous souhaite le meilleur.

Bisher unsere beste Unterkunft, auch verglichen mit Aufenthalten außerhalb von Bali. Die Unterkunft ist recht neu gebaut und deshalb getreu den Fotos. Zudem ist alles sehr sauber. Auch das Bett ist bequem und es ließ sich gut darauf schlafen. Zur Lage: Man ist hier wirklich etwas versteckt. Ca. 10 Minuten Entfernung nach Sidemen, direkt neben dem Dschungel. Direkt in den Tropen. Man muss aber ein paar Stufen bewältigen zur Unterkunft. Nicht allzu viele (ca. 25), aber für Personen mit Rollstuhl o.ä. doch ein Hindernis. Was unseren Aufenthalt aber sehr besonders machte, war das Personal. Der Inhaber selbst übernimmt die meiste Zeit die Betreuung und spricht sehr gutes Englisch. Unterstützt wird er von seiner Schwester. Ihren Service stellen sie dabei von 07:00 Uhr am Morgen bis 22:00 Uhr am Abend zur Verfügung, wo man ihnen einfach auf Whatsapp schreiben kann. In dringenden Fällen sind sie aber auch außerhalb dieser Kernzeit erreichbar. Sie begegnen einem immer höflich und mit Respekt und geben einem das Gefühl einer persönlichen Betreuung. Man kommt sich regelrecht wie ein Edelmann im Dschungelschloss vor. Sehr neue Erfahrung für uns und ein Highlight unserer Reise. Wir nutzten auch einige der Zusatzleistungen wie die Massage und den Rollerservice. Beides sehr unkompliziert. Zur Massage kommen ausgebildete Therapeutinnen zu einem in die Unterkunft. Organisiert wird dies vom Inhaber. Auch das Essen in der Unterkunft ist sehr zu empfehlen. Unser tägliches Frühstück bekamen wir ebenso zum Zimmer serviert und es war für balinesische Verhältnisse sehr großzügig mit 2-3 Eiern, Toast, Marmelade, Würstchen, einer Scheibe Speck, einem Obstteller und 2 kleinen Nachspeisen pro Person. Dazu Saft und ein Heißgetränk. Wir nahmen immer das American Breakfast, weshalb wir zur indonesischen Variante nichts sagen können. Dabei wird auch angeboten, dass man das Frühstück im Pool bekommt (wie auf den Fotos), worauf wir aber verzichteten, da es uns am Morgen zu kalt für den Pool war.

Man muss sich im Klaren sein, dass man hier neben dem Dschungel schläft. Entsprechend gibt es einen Lärmpegel in der Nacht von Fröschen und von Geckos. Zudem ist die Unterkunft oben an der Decke offen (Bambus-Fassadengitter). Uns ist es aber nie passiert, dass sich ein Tierchen ins Zimmer gelegt hätte (im Bett ist man zudem von einem Netz geschützt). Lärmempfindliche Menschen sollten das nur bei der Buchung bedenken.

Absolument tout. Cet établissement est situé au beau milieu des rizières en haut des montagnes avec une vue panoramique à couper le souffle. L’endroit est propre, soigné, idéal pour les amoureux. Les hôtes sont ont petit soin, prévenants, réactifs et chaleureux. Les plats servis sont très peu chers et exquis. Merci milles fois encore aux hôtes qui ont permis ce séjour fabuleux.

Peut être le fait qu’il soit difficile d’accès donc peu de grab sont desservis. Mais aucun lien direct avec l’établissement finalement.

El recibimiento tan acogedor de Agung y su familia con una bebida de bienvenida muy buena, son encantadores y te tratan muy bien, siempre dispuestos a ayudarnos en todo momento. Todo estaba muy limpio y el detalle de dejarnos agua, bebidas frías y fruta fue un plus, además de tener hervidor de agua y nevera en tu habitación. Como un hotel de lujo, te dan chanclas y bata para estar cómodo en la villa, todo cuidado al detalle. El entorno está rodeado de naturaleza, por la noche hay alguna que otra ranita y lagartija, son inofensivas y adorables. Mucha suerte en tu primer negocio Agung! Seguir así y tendréis mucho éxito!

La comida que pedimos estaba muy buena pero llegó un poco fría, se entiende porque eramos 4 personas y pedimos mucha cosa pero el servicio es completo, puedes pasar relajado todo el día en el alojamiento que estás de lujo.
