Beds too soft

Room, was nice, we were high up, but everything was as expected it's an old pub that's been decorated and we liked it. The staff, went beyond, worked hard, Really friendly. Drinks delicious and presented well. We booked for food first night, it's not cheap but that was good as it was very high quality. Everything we had was delicious and better than most other places we eat out, it was so good we booked again next evening. Congratulations to the Chef, great produce, and cooking expertise. Also great choice at breakfast, you have that perfect. Again great high quality produce, cooked to perfection. It's not what generally is like elsewhere big thank you well done.band Thank you!

None of this was a problem for us, but just our observation after dinner it seemed all the guests went to their rooms, so nothing much to do but go to the room. No where near to walk to, while quite quiet would have to walk on the road. But we don't know the area. Access to some rooms may be difficult for some.

Location was good for us as we were attending a sporting event nearby. The little touches were nice decent tea/ coffee complimentary water in room, lovely fluffy towels and crisp white bedding, bedroom could do with a mirror on the dressing table.

On the surface it looks good new floors/ seating in bar but it is the attention to detail that needs addressing, just needs a good thorough overhaul, the carpet leading to upstairs looked like it hadn’t seen a hoover for a while… walls and doors in need of a repaint … our shower was blocked so over flowed…
