Cute apartment within walking distance of Namur

We enjoyed staying at this compact apartment within walking distance of the sites of Namur. The apartment is close to a lovely bakery and some nice restaurants too so we found it easy to head out for dinner. Parking was simple on the road outside the apartment. The beds were very comfortable. Our children loved the box of games too.

The washing machine is not in the apartment itself but we were able to use one within the building when the relevant room was unlocked. The apartment is on the second and third floor so wouldn't be suitable for people who don't like steps.

Beautifully decorated pleasing ambience

Beautifully decorated apartment with everything one would need for their stay. The kitchen is fully equipped with cutlery, pots and pans as well as basic cooking essentials such as oil, salt and seasonings. The hosts are helpful and always available to answer any questions. Parking is available on the street free of charge. The apartment is a 20min from Dinant.

Lovely modern spacious comfortable apartment.

The property is located in a quiet one way street in a suburb of Namur, only 30 minutes walk, 5 minutes drive, from the town centre. You can see the citadelle from the property. There are two comfortable double bedrooms on separate floors, one overlooking the garden at the back of the property and the other facing the citadelle at the front. The furnishing in the property is all very modern and well designed. The kitchen is well equipped for 4 people with hob, oven, microwave and large fridge, but no freezing compartment.

The most awkward thing was obtaining the keys. The day before arrival I asked how we would obtain these but received no response. On Booking.com I saw that I had said 3-4pm when I booked 6 months before. We were coming from Germany so the arrival time was always going to be uncertain and we also wanted to visit Dinant, which ended up being only 30 minutes. The host also wanted cash, but as we were on our way home, we no longer had enough, he then wanted a bank transfer. This took me about an hour to organise, delaying or going out in Namur. The only other negatives were the lack of freezer, the TV lacked normal channels though had Netflix, and though it was not an issue for us, people with mobility issues will need to be aware of the many steep steps to negotiate.

This is a wonderful apartment. The hosts are very friendly, helped us with everything. we became friends! Beds are comfortable, good location: quiet street, within walking distance center, supermarket. Everything in the apartment is new, clean and tidy. The hostess has good taste and arranged as cozy as at home. I highly recommend and will back!

Séjour magnifique

Logement hyper propre et conforme aux photos ! A 10 min des principaux commerces ! La communication avec la propriétaire est facile et bienveillante ! Quelques petites attentions comme des essuies à disposition ou une tablette de lave-vaisselle !

Quelques bugs avec la télé mais se règlent assez rapidement si on attend un peu !

Très propre, bien équipé, literie confortable, bien placé à 20 minutes à pied du centre de Namur.

Seul mini bémol, il manque un deuxième fauteuil pour que tout le monde puisse s’installer confortablement dans le salon.

Eine Wohnung mit Wohlfühlqualität.

Es ist eine sehr schöne Wohnung, nicht weit von der Innenstadt. Gute Parkmöglichkeit auf der Straße und guten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Alles war sehr sauber und die Wohnung ist pefekt ausgestattet. Es waren sogar Kaffekapseln vorrätig. Das Haus ist sehr ruhig.Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen und die Unterkunft weiterempfehlen.

Superbe

Superbe séjour. L’appartement est idéalement situé. Rue calme, avec des stationnements gratuits toujours disponibles. A 15 minutes environs à pied du centre de Namur. Des magasins et restaurants eux aussi très proches. L’appartement est superbe et très fonctionnel.

S’il faut trouver du négatif, il serait intéressant qu’il y ait plus de vaisselle ou remplacer le lave vaisselle par un lave linge qui serait plus utile. Mais ça n’est que du détail.

gezellig en proper ingericht appartement met voldoende ruimte voor 2 koppels en uitkijk op de citadel van Namen; de ligging ook goed om de stad of omgeving te verkennen. gratis parkeren in de straat en fietsenstalling achteraan op terras. contact met host verliep vlot

de tweede slaapkamer (kleinste) was nogal klein voor 2 volwassenen en niet voorzien van een wastafel; geen aparte wc voor appartement, enkel in de badkamer.
