Temple for a nice retreat!

The place was divine. The rooms were clean and comfy. The bathroom is taken out of a castle story. The old house is situated in a very calm area. The host was very kind and helped us with everything we needed.

There is nothing bad to say about the propriety.

Excellent - and deserves much more than an overnight stay

Lovely restoration of old farm building in a very quiet village just outside Namur. Needed an overnight stop on a long journey across Europe and found this. But really deserves more than an overnight stay.

Rustic hideaway.

Amazing place to stay. Shame we only stayed for one night. Very rustic. Although only a couple of Kms outside of Namur, it really did feel like you were in the countryside. Bed so comfortable and kids also loved the sofa bed.

+ lots of utensils ready for use in the kitchen + spacious house + the garden chairs we were able to use + village was really quiet + great shower + tasty bottle of wine given to us by the host upon arrival + warm welcome by the host

- the fact the part of the garden we were allowed to use was not really private (it was just beside the parking lot) - the bigger garden (the one with the view) was not open to us as guests as the robot mower was cutting the grass (we were told) -> we were surprised to see the already very short grass needed to be cut extra short 24/7 - the doors to the bathroom and bedroom didn't close (1 couldn't be closed, the other only when pushed real hard and with lots of noise) which woke our 1 yar old daughter up - the rooms were quite chilly, even in warm weather (due to the thick walls) + due to the thick walls also quite dark - the house isn't fit for young children: the plates and other delicate stuff were placed in an open cabinet so it was easy for our baby to grasp and break things -> we had to put everything higher so she couldn't reach all of these things & there was no high chair for us to use

De locatie was mooi, landelijk, je dacht dat je midden in de natuur zat, en toch zeer dichtbij Namur centrum, dichtbij supermarkten, een aanrader.

Séjour de charme aux portes de Namur

Le charme indéniable d’une très belle restauration . Le confort la tranquillité L’extérieur la propreté . Une bien meilleure alternative aux chambres d’hôtels classiques aux portes de Namur

Peut-être juste un panneau indicateur au carrefour pour guider vers le gîte et éviter de déranger le voisinage 😏

Beeindruckende Ferienwohnung in ruhiger Lage.

Schön gelegen, ein wunderschönes altes Gutshaus, sehr geschmackvoll und komfortabel eingerichtet mit einer kleine Terrasse vor der Tür. Perfekt für eine Zwischenübernachtung auf dem Weg nach Hause. Sehr freundlicher Empfang durch die Besitzerin.

Für ein bis zwei Nächte ist es sehr schön, länger würden wir nicht dort bleiben, weil die Wohnung in dem schönen alte Gemäuer doch recht dunkel Ist.
