Good enough
The location was superb,middle in a quiet village. Good equipped kitchen and a superb fireplace with free unlimited wood. Good beds!
The heating was working in the night of arrival but following two days it was dead cold. Luckily the fireplace was warming up quite good, upstairs was like a sauna. We were staying during NYE and the party downstairs/behind the wall/neighbours was pumping untill 5 in the morning. All good and all but not when you have kids with you.. The cherry on top was the smell of good old mold when you open the kitchen drawers. Makes you wonder if the stuff in the drawers is safe to use..

Gite du Maupelin was located in a quiet and tranquil location. Comfortable, well equipped, great for a piecfull evening. Not far from Namur itself that had bars restaurants.
There was actually nothing we didn't like. We had everything we needed. I would definitely stay there again.

Nice Apartment In A Good Location
Friendly owner who lives on site (English spoken if needed); located in a quiet area close to the city; parking on site; very good WiFi; comfortable bed and pillows; well-equipped kitchen; very nice terrace; lots of windows to create an air flow; two fans were provided.
Bedroom in a loft upstairs while the toilet is downstairs in a tiny enclosed closet; steps to get to the apartment and steps between the loft and main floor; name on the sign in front (Gite de Maupelin) does not match the name of the apartment on Booking.com.

Good base to explore the champagne region outside of the main hubs. Clean and neat place and easy to access
No curtains to close the windows as far as we could tell which isn't the best with kids Location likely won't work unless you have a car

The owner lives next to the house, so is available most of het times. The kitchen is fully equipped.
