Namur cozy apartment

The location was perfect, very close to the train station. There were plenty of shops and restaurants close to the apartment. The apartment is spacious, we loved the balcony and the kitchen was well equipped. Plus point for the coffee machine:)

The location is great, although, the apartment is at the top of the building, the elevator only fits two people and stops one level below the apartment. I had to carry my child's stroller every time.

The owner was not replying to my messages here in booking.com (I messaged before arriving, the number they provided isn't the one they used when they finally contacted me on the day). When we arrived at the property, the owner wasn't there, told me she/he was in an accident. The annoying part of that was they could have mentioned that as soon as possible as they mentioned they have been waiting for the car to be towed for an hour since. During that time, they could have messaged me. As we got in the apartment, it was so messy, I thought someone was still in there. It was somehow disgusting as there was a condom wrapper on the floor under the bed (thankfully, it was not opened or used, I had my two little children there with me). The owner also did not find a way to find someone to clean the apartment before we arrived on time. He/she even asked us if we could clean it ourselves, which I believe I didn't signed up for. There were no items for cleaning as well. The owner sent her/his mom to send towels and a bedding sheet, whom came late to the agreed time, then just gave them to us without even trying to offer to help clean up. We were so tired from our travels since 3am from Dublin and it was already 5.30pm. the apartment was not clean and there was no cleaner. My mom was very disappointed and frustrated at this experience. The owner finally found a cleaner at 6.30pm. That planned day was ruined (check in time was 2pm). Also, there were no toilet tissues provided for the next two days of our stay so we had to buy them ourselves. The place finally looked great after cleaning but there were loads of mosquitos as well. My children have loads of mosquito bites from this apartment. The photos here are only some of what the apartment looked like when we arrived.
