Cheap rarely means good

Not a bad place — the main attractions are within walking distance. There’s a good supermarket nearby. The hostess was nice and met us right on the street, helping us drive into the courtyard for parking. The apartment is in a residential building, with high ceilings and a new kitchen. That’s where the good things end.

There’s no elevator! If you have suitcases — congratulations, you’re in for a real challenge. The internet is terrible; if you’re in the bedroom, it disconnects every 10 minutes (we haven’t seen anything like this in ages). The beds are uncomfortable, with the cheapest mattresses and pillows. The wardrobes wobble, and the hangers look like they were collected from flea markets. Parking isn’t safe — it’s in the courtyard, and although there’s a locking gate, on the other side there’s a door wide open. In the bathroom, you can’t even turn around or dry your towels; there’s no shower gel, not to mention shampoo or conditioner, and the shower itself is just a joke. In the kitchen, there are no towels at all — not even paper ones. There’s no proper table, only very tall bar stools that are impossible to climb onto or sit on comfortably; it’s easier to eat standing up. Overall, we didn’t like it . The reviews don’t match reality — there’s nothing resembling “interior design” here.

Good location if arriving by car. Spacious and quiet.

Very quiet, pleasant location in a residential block. Supermarket a few minutes’ walk away, and a fairly short walk to the centre of town too. Great to have a parking place within the gated parking area for anyone coming by car. Really comfortable flat with two spacious bedrooms and useful to have a washing machine! Our host was helpful and responsive. Mantova is lovely. Interesting places to visit (Palazzo Te, for example) and generally a good place to explore. Plenty of good eateries!

Not a lot! The aircon is in the hall, rather the bedrooms, but we were fine, despite it being pretty hot when we were there.

The apartment is fully furniture and renovated. There are two big bedrooms with double beds, living room shared with the kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen has all required items for the daily usage. There are the heating and air conditioning in all rooms. The apartment is located in the quiet and the central district of the town. There has been big supermarket just 5 min a walk and couple of restaurants. There is a private parking area in the courtyard. The host was very polite and kind.

A pleasant, spacious and very clean apartment.

The apartment was spacious, clean and modern. It was well located close to a supermarket and bike paths, which suited us well. It was only a short 20 minute walk into the centre. There was no problem parking our vehicle in the yard of the apartment.

The table and chairs were very tall and very difficult to get onto. I could not recommend this accommodation for short or elderly people. The table was also very small considering the size of the room it was in. The bed was on the firm side. Note, that there is no electric jug for boiling water nor a toaster in the kitchen.

Accogliente e pulito.

Abitazione pulita, accogliente, come da descrizione. La titolare molto gentile e disponibile. Ci ha fornito tutte le indicazioni per muoverci al meglio in città. Ci spiace solo aver dovuto lasciare l'appartamento prima del previsto per motivi personali. Dovessimo ripassare per Mantova, torneremo sicuramente.

Bellissimo soggiorno a Mantova

L'appartamento è veramente carino, pulito e accogliente. Grazie ai condizionatori non abbiamo sofferto il caldo anomalo dei giorni di soggiorno, né di giorno, né di notte. Non manca nulla e la signora Alina gentilissima e disponibile, ci ha permesso di rimanere ben oltre l'orario del check out, cosa che ci ha agevolato moltissimo. Torneremo a Mantova e spero di trovare libero ancora Casa Caterina.

Belle expérience à Mantova

Super appartement, spacieux et joliment aménagé. Le tout louer par une femme très sympathique et serviable. Tout le nécessaire était présent pour un beau séjour.

La literie était un peu molle, mais c’est toujours une question de goût.

L'emplacement était bien, à 15/20 mn à pied du centre vraiment historique, très facile à rejoindre et au moins il n'y avait pas de bruit comme dans les quartiers très (trop) animés. Très facile de se garer dans la rue, toujours des places, stationnement gratuit. Et si on voulait on pouvait même entrer se garer dans la cour de l'immeuble, mais on n'a pas eu besoin. Appartement vaste et aménagé de façon très moderne. Très sympa d'avoir une grande boîte de capsules Nespresso pour la cafetière!!

Un seul défaut: un seul toilette, dans la salle d'eau. Donc quand on est 5, c'est un peu gênant parfois. Il manquait une bouilloire électrique, mais super cafetière. Le lit d'appoint n'est pas idéal (une barre est saillante au centre, de la tête aux pieds) mais c'était gentil de nous l'avoir préparé!

- L'appartamento è di recente ristrutturazione, con un bell' arredamento moderno curato con tutto il necessario per un piacevole soggiorno. - La posizione è ottima, a pochi minuti a piedi sia da Palazzo Te, che dal centro. - La zona è tranquilla, residenziale con palazzine e un comodo supermercato vicino. - Si può parcheggiare l'auto all' interno del cancello della palazzina e godersi la città a piedi. - La proprietaria dell'appartamento è tanto accogliente e premurosa, si è preoccupata di fornirci tutto ciò che abbiamo chiesto, incluse informazioni e consigli sulla zona, dimostrandosi super disponibile e affettuosa.

Gute Lage zur Innenstadt und für Ausflüge, annehmbare Betten und eine sehr freundliche Gastgeberin

Ein schön eingerichtetes App. mit 2 bequemen und großen Schlafzimmern, Balkon nur von einem Zimmer zu betreten. In einem kleineren Wohnblock, man hört natürlich die Nachbarn, aber das war nicht schlimm. Privatparkplatz im Hof ist abgesichert mit Tor. 2. Stock ohne Aufzug, das sollte man wissen. Nahe Palazzo Te, ins Centro braucht man fußläufig ca. 20 min. TV in jedem Zimmer, nur italienische Sender.

Ziemlich magere Küchenausstattung, aber gratis Kapseln für einen guten Espresso aus der Maschine vorhanden. Küchenhandtücher mitnehmen.

La casa, ampia e con arredi nuovi. La gentilezza e disponibilità della proprietaria. Per 4 persone sarebbe stato anche un buon rapporto qualità prezzo, noi eravamo in 2 quindi era un pochino alto, tuttavia l'appartamento è risultato comodo.

Tolle Lage, ruhig, Parkplatz im abgeschlossenen Hof, moderne Küche mit Induktionsherd. Sehr sauber und Vermieterin ist sehr aufmerksam und hat auf Wünsche sofort reagiert.

Fehlende Gaderobe und Möglichkeiten im Bad Dinge aufzuhängen. Die Matratzen waren für mich etwas unbequem, das Deckbett dagegen sehr angenehm.

Colazione non inclusa, ma c’erano le cialde per il caffè. Cordialità massima e ottima cura. C’erano persino lavastoviglie e lavatrice! La padrona di casa abita vicino, per qualunque cosa è disponibile. Vicinissimo ad un locale fantastico: La Casa dello Speck, consigliato da Alina. Super approvato
