Staying in this apartment in Mantua was a truly pleasant experience, made even better by its absolutely perfect location. The flat is right in the historic city center, inside a beautiful and historic residence that also has an elevator. From the moment you enter, it’s clear that the building has been carefully renovated with great attention to detail.
The apartment itself is surprisingly spacious and high‑quality: the ceilings are over four meters high, with a beautiful wooden structure that adds warmth and character to the space. The windows are new and very effective, ensuring complete silence at night despite overlooking the main street. The kitchen is modern, fully renovated, and equipped with a very efficient cooktop. We also really appreciated the small touches from the host, such as the two bottles of water left for us on arrival and the moka pot.
Overall, the apartment is beautiful, comfortable, tastefully renovated, and in an unbeatable location. We would definitely recommend it.
One important point concerns the city tax. Upon arrival, we were asked to leave 3 euros per person; however, after personally checking the local regulations, we clarified that in Italy this tax is not required for guests under 14 years of age. Since we were traveling with two young children, it was necessary to point out that the amount applied only to adults. This is a useful detail for anyone traveling with minors.
There are just a few small aspects that could be improved: the bathroom door does not close, the toilet brush was broken, the shower had an occlusion and the water was not draining — I had to open the drain manually to let the water flow — and one of the mosquito screens is missing and likely needs to be reinstalled. These are all minor issues and easy to fix.

Location, cleaness , organisation very good
The Bed was no bed, but only a couch. The owner should put a real bed into the studio !!
