Felt like living in jail

It’s central. But hated the rest

Misleading listing – not luxury The apartment is advertised as Luxury, but my experience was the complete opposite. I do not recommend booking. Cockroaches and silverfish were present in the apartmentInterior felt extremely basic and prison-like rather than premiumThe apartment was dirty and had a bad smellThe balcony faces another building and a highway, was dirty, and not usableNo shower curtain in the bathroomThe stove did not workThe pool is mostly in the shadeThe gym was very small, outdated, and appeared poorly maintainedAttempts to contact the host for assistance received no responseThis was the worst apartment stay I’ve had. Staff is not accomodating. I made a booking for me and my family, it was confirmed and paid but when we arrived at the property the staff told us they are fully booked, he offered us another room on the same building which is overprice, when i did not accept his offer he left us behind.

Cockroach home

I found a Cockroach in the toilet. Hair everywhere The condition of the apartment is too bad . I kept asking for the tv remote for 6 hours no response I called the guy who is in charge no response

Never Again. Unhygienic, unfriendly hosts

It was chaotic, on the booking, it was clearly mentioned that we have booked for Marina Diamond 2, but upon reaching the place, we were told that the property is all sold out. Mind you, the booking and payment was done all in advance. We were instructed to go to Diamond 1 instead which is around 15 to 30 mins by walk under around 45C heat. They did not even assisted us in moving. Then the room we have booked is a room with balcony, the room we had does not even have a balcony in it. When we complained to the host, they asked us to just cancel the booking wherein fact it was already paid in full. In the end, we took the room not wanting the holiday to be completely ruined. Upon checking out (we were out the whole 2 days, just booked the room to sleep in), one of my friends noticed a rotting banana peel, bunch of cigarette butts and even a insulin syringe with the needle still intact below the bed. It seems that the room wasn't properly cleaned. The stove doesn't turn on, the kettle is almost saying goodbye to its users, the microwave is broken. The only thing that works in the kitchen is the sink and the refrigerator. Atleast there's only 1 small cockroach during our stay, but all in all never again!

STAY AWAY, VERY BAD CHOICE!

The only good thing about this place was it's location.

The facilities were horrible. Room was not clean and the floors were sticky. There was no phone in room to contact reception, not that it would have made a difference because no one was available except building security and he was of no use anyways. Swimming pool was dirty with dust from next door construction. Phone number provided on bookin.com was useless because no one answers your calls and no response to WhatsApp messages also. We could not even get them to give us a change of towels on day 2 of our stay. We had to wash and use the towels from the first day. Luckily there was a washing machine in the apartment. Families should stay away from this place if you don't want to ruin your stay in Dubai.

The advantage was a good location. The subway, good restaurants and about 1 km more were a short distance away.

When we arrived at night, they didn't even know we had a reservation with them, the room was dirty, not tidy, the shower was dirty, the bed linen was dirty, we had no towels. When we complained at the reception, they sent us to room 210, where they said we would get everything. But we didn't get anything there. They only gave us three wet towels. The TV didn't work either, there was a big construction site next to the accommodation, where workers were working all night, so it was impossible to sleep at all at night.

Well the name I booked it under was not on the front building for a start so took hours to find the place. Then I had no towels in room, door handle was hanging off, the bathroom flooded every time you showered, the hallway stank really strong smell.

Location close to the metro station.

Any room shown in the picture was nothing like that. And this hotel was not a room that was given to someone to stay. The door was broken. There was no cleaner. There was no communication. That's it. You are given the key and after that you see everything for yourself. And everything that is told and shown here is a lie. I think you should remove these pictures posted on booking.com - they are very wrong, nothing like that. The pictures are of someone else and not of this room or building.

I am not recommending this hotel to anybody. It is not worth its money and in need of closure

almost everything was awful. Beginning with staff and properties, ending with room facilities and hotel’s conditions. In our room, there were a lot of incests, mould because of high humidity, and broken furniture. We asked for the towels, and even they were wet. I was afraid that they were used and not clean.

Disappointing

Not very much. It was very old and dated, not very comfortable and very noisy however they allowed for bags to be left in reception which was good.

The property was good. They havent kept is so clean. Bathroom was very unclean and we could see all the waste was dumped below the bed. The POC person refused to provide his number which made it very difficult to get in touch with him. We were asked to meet him in his room for every small thing as he was not ready to share his number. But he allowed us to keep our bags in his room after checkout. Even the security had no idea about this persons contact njmber and refused to share that guys number.

After booking the property, i got a message with contact number and email id. I tried calling in that number n number of times. No body responded or called back, also no response for the emails i sent. Till reaching there i was worried as nobody was there for contact. Please provide a number that is responsive. Please make sure the customers are able to get in touch with the host or any POC. Respond to the emails. Please!

Perfect place to get sick

Nice location, good internet connection, the linen smelled like chlorine (this was good for how the apartment looked like).

The apartment is in a very bad condition. The pictures are old and don't show the reality anymore. There were a few cockroaches, but I guess those are everywhere as we've seen them on the street as well. There is black mold in the bathroom and under the kitchen sink. The washing machine was not starting. The iron is damaged and cannot be used. The walls are damp and the paint is falling down. Due to the dampness of the walls and the mold the smell inside is not pleasant at all. There were no towels and no toilet paper. The windows are dirty, the floor is sticky, the clothes drying rack is rusted. Quite a noisy apartment, you can hear everything from outside and from the hallway, including the elevators. There was no communication with the owners previous to arrival, they were not answering any questions, therefore the airport shuttle is inexistent.

Nice stay and with good experience

Location was quite easy to access Metro and just walking distance to beach and groceries and even Marina Mall. Restaurants are nearby 24hrs. It is good that you can left baggage even before you check inn or out.

Bathroom should be renovated to a good standard.
