Security of the building is good
Nice balcony
Super close to the tram which takes you to the metro
Walkable to the beach and lots of food spots which is super ideal
Owner was super lovely and staff were helpful and welcoming (was met at 4am by a guy working for the hostel to help me check in)
Not the most social vibe - most people staying are living there and working in dubai so for a solo traveller it was difficult to connect with people here
People were super nice but a little inconsiderate when it came to the ‘quiet’ hours so expect to be disturbed at early hours in the morning by talking and doors banging

The Staff, and owner are so polite.
Location is perfect. The over all experience is nice.
The room's cleanliness was sub-standard, as I discovered insects under the bed. Additionally, the TV volume in the living room was consistently above a reasonable level. I was also disappointed to find no toilet paper provided; the explanation given was 'misuse' by others, which unfairly penalizes guests who use facilities responsibly. Lastly, there is an undisclosed $7 fee per load for the washing machine.
