Bad place to stay

The only positive about this place is the location, right on the Walk @JBR.

I never met the staff during my 4 days stays. Didn't get the key for the locker to store my belongings. The safe was non working. Residents are stinky, snore like a freaking tractor, the bed is too small (i'm 6ft4). The mattress is so hard it feels like there isn't any. Bathroom were like a warzone, dirty, water everywhere.

It was great until the end.

It was clean and spacious. The furniture was modern. There was ample space.

I’m very upset about the booking. I went to the staff two days prior to let them know I would like to extend. It was agreed upon and we were on the same page. The day of my extended stay I was told no space due to over booking. I had no where to go and had no place to stay. Leaving me outside all night. Very upset.

Sweet Prestigious Hostel

My stay in this hostel was amazing, I got to meet amazing travellers from around the world, made new friends, and had access to some of the best sightseeing places in Dubai. Thanks to the management of the hostel and the amazing Junior and Nikki for making this place a comfortable one for my stay. I felt as if I was staying at home.

The apartment matched the pictures exactly. Everywhere was new and very clean. The location was right in the middle of JBR so if you’re looking to stay in Jumeirah, this would be ideal. The staff Nicki and especially Junior were very sweet and helpful. The view of the Marina from the balcony is beautiful. I had specifically requested a lower bunk bed which was readily accommodated which I really appreciate.

There was a slight problem in the girls washroom however upon complaining was resolved within 24 hours which I appreciated. All good.

I really loved the teams hospitality. The hostel has got cameras in the facility and the host and the staff members are always in the apartment, it's relatively safe and I can store my expensive items in my safety deposit box. The team treated me like family, and that was much appreciated. Will definitely be coming back. A small comment regarding the previous review by the Russian guest (Ruslan) : I find it hard to believe that a guest who arrives to only sleep in the bed for one night and leave the next day could lose their iPhone 15, when there's a safety deposit box in the Bedspace. Deliberately choosing to not use the facilities provided and blaming Prestige is foul. He then chooses to not communicate with guests, but judges them... That review was not okay and judging the fellow guests who chose to live there just shows his level of character and it being poor. If he experienced this problem, then he could've reached out to the team first and let them know of the problem and checked camera footage or involved the police. I'm defending the team... that was a fake review, and that iPhone 15, could've been lost anywhere.

I complained about the difficulty of finding the location, however in less than 24 hours the team managed to provide a solution, to those who plan on staying in the future. Which is very helpful

Great value for money

I liked views from the balcony, huge space especially at the sitting room such that each person can sit at their own place with minimal disturbance. There are rules in place not to talk while in the bedroom, which makes it very conducive and peaceful even when you want to nap during the day. The place is clean, and the managers are very friendly and willing to help. The location is also perfect close to the beach and with multiple restaurants around. Although the location is far from the center, it is well covered by metro and tram.

The location is flocked by tourists, so the restaurants around are a bit expensive but not a big issue for a person who is on vacation.
