Hosts disappointing.

House was nice and in a good location.

Unfortunately during our stay there was absolutely no water in the property, therefore we were unable to shower, brush teeth, make tea/coffee etc. When I contacted the hosts/hotel to let them know they informed me it was due to a burst water pipe in Buncrana which they weren't aware of, which is fair. Although the staff told us they would pass it onto management as it obviously ruined the stay, as there were 8 of us you can imagine. I still haven't heard a thing h back from the hotel which is very disappointing.

Buncrana was more than I expected.

This property was exceptional. The view was to die for ,hosts left plenty of extras,ie towels,loo rolls,drying cloths.was within walking distance of town20mins and beach10mins .shop at the end of the rd as was a bar / restaurant.

The property is beautifully decorated with all modern facilities. The views are just fantastic! Very close to shops and beach all within a walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay and we would highly recommend, our host was extremely helpful just a phone call away.

Fabulous.

Very modern and spacious property. Location was fab, easy to walk to beach, shops etc. View was incredible. Property clean and well-maintained.

Kitchen equipment was lacking to cook a proper meal - no chopping knives for example. Also it was not clear when booking that the house is split into 2 units and while self contained within own toilets, kitchen etc the garden etc is shared. Now we had wonderful neighbours so didn't bother us at all - but it could be made clear on booking info. Also we never did find the BBQ.

Buncrana

The house was in a great location, within a few minutes walking distance to the beach. It was comfortable and spacious. Good for a crawling baby. There is a leisure centre about 15 mins ago with a pool.

Very good but needs a few additions

We stayed in the 2-bed unit, nicely renovated, good location, modern & warm, clean and near to local shop & hotel with bar / restaurant and couple mins drive to Buncrana main street. The view over Lough Swilly is gorgeous.

The kitchen is not equipped to cook, no utensils whatsoever, no sharp knifes, only small plates..no dinner plates, chopping boards etc. We managed for the weekend but couldn’t consider staying longer unless you wanted to eat out for every meal or get takeaway. Baffling really & disappointing as the kitchen itself is decent. Wifi was poor & unreliable, plus couldn’t connect to Netflix on tv nor cast to it. No dishwasher and some of the glasses & cutlery we had to wash before using as grubby from the previous stay. The couch also needs a clean / hoovered which I tried to do myself but could only find a sweeping brush. Despite the above we really enjoyed our stay and with some extra thought the property could be 10/10, outdoor furniture would be a bonus
