A beautiful, cozy place we’d love to return to!

Everything was super nice and cozy. The two separate rooms were comfortable for friends. There are only 22 steps up to the apartment, and it’s very close to the seaside. Actually, it’s a first-line apartment with a sea view.

There was a small misunderstanding at the beginning, it seemed that my friend and I were supposed to share one bed. But after messaging the host, we quickly resolved it, and I ended up sleeping in the other room. The sofa was very comfortable.

Conveniently located near the sea

The apartment is right in front of the Barcola pinewood, conveniently located for all sea-related activities. It is well furnished, with most of what one can reasonably need in terms of kitchen utensils and appliances. For its size (35sqm) it is relatively spacious, with a large shower, a queen size bed and plenty of room to move around, even in two. Last but not least, the host was very friendly and helpful.

The apartment is at the ground floor in a narrow alleyway. This means that there is no view to speak of. All windows face the surrounding buildings and no direct sunlight ever reaches them. Whether this is an issue or not is likely subjective, and will depend on how much time you plan to spend inside. The area (Barcola) gets very busy as soon as the weather gets warmer. This means that finding a parking spot might be challenging, especially during weekends.

Highly recommend. Very Very Nice Clean and Cozy family friendly Modern apartment,provided with everything you might need. the host Cristina is incredibly friendly welcoming us and helping guiding , sharing informations and sightseeing without us even asking. Location is exceptional ,directly in front of the sea. Also very practical , Pizzeria & coffee house direct underneath the apartment still you close the window and it’s super quiet. We came by car and Cristina provided us with a private parking with was also amazing and made our stay even easier. We highly recommend the stay there, worth everything.

Perfekt für die echte Triest-Erfahrung mit Kultur und Strand

Eine wirklich durchdacht und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtete Wohnung in einem Jahrhundertwendehaus mit Blick aufs Meer bei Barcola. Das Quartier liegt am halben Weg zwischen Piazza Unità und Schloss Miramare. Die Promenade - gleichzeitig Badestrand von Triestinern und Urlaubern - liegt einmal über die Straße hinter einem Streifen Pinienwald in 2 Minuten Entfernung. Auf dem Weg dorthin gab es dann auch noch die sehr sympathische Strandbar, ohne Schnickschnack, gleich am Meer. In die Innenstadt und nach Miramare gelangt man innerhalb einer Viertelstunde unkompliziert mit dem Bus oder - sehr zu empfehlen! - mit dem erstaunlich günstigen Boot. Die umliegenden Restaurants sind zwar eher einfach, aber wir haben keine schlechten Erfahrungen gemacht, und Edleres findet sich ja in der Stadt zur Genüge.
