I don't recommend this place for those who want to save money, it's not worth it

Unfortunately the only 2 positive things are the price and the proximity to the airport, but I recommend spending a little more and looking for a little more comfort

Check in was a bit complicated: I wasted half an hour paying a tourist tax of 2.50 Euros and sending the receipt by email. to can get Open Code. If I wanted to make it easier, I was offered the option of a physical person coming at an increased cost of 20Eu I was asked if I wanted a parking space (empty when I arrived) at an additional cost of 10Eu To go to the bathroom i had to go into another apartment downstairs with another key. In short, considering my overnight stay was from 8 PM to 4 AM due to an early flight, I didn't find the comfort I was looking for. The walls and doors were very thin, and I could practically hear everything going on in the other rooms, plus the presence of the railway and every passing train.

It was clean and bright and airy.

Really difficult to find. Shared bathroom on the next floor down ! We know this was a budget hotel, and it did not cost much,but there was Difficulties with language problem trying to gain access to the property and this detracted from the property. No television. WiFi was ok.

The location was fine.

The room we got was very small. The shared bathroom was on a total different floor which was not specified on the description. Also the very small room did not have air-con. Only a fan. Very hot and miss leading description.

Worst experience by far

Only think which was good, are aircondition

First think is we get 10% of toilet paper, Water for shower is imposible to make to be right One second cold water one second hot . You need to hold button for shower to run the water, Balcony was full of sand ao if you like to be on the balcony you need to clean first No gas for cooking , so you cannot make nothing for eat, only microwawe..... We get 4 towels all white, but one was yellow in the middle like was dirty.. This is my opion and we travel a lot with family bit this is the worst "apartment" by far.

All in all it is not good

It was clean and check-in and check-out instructions were really easy to follow. It is located near to the central train station and to the airport.

Whole accomodation was different from the pictures that are avaible on Booking. The room was about 5 m2 with a bed, that really was not for two people (we are 75kg male and 50kg female couple). We could not fit in it. Also there was really hot in the whole building (around 32 deg. Celsius), and the only way how it was possible to moderate temperature was with insufficient small fan. The room soposed to be for two, but in reality it was hardly for one. The only thing about it, that was really for two, was its price…

Good stay for a low budget traveler.

Rooms are clean and simple, the kitchen is well equipped. Rooms have an air-conditioning, which was very helpful in the hot summer days.

Rooms are made by partitioning of a former apartment, and the bathroom is separate from your room, so you have to go out, then unlock your private bathroom with a key. Not very funny with only a towel around your waist.

I had bad experience with this hotel staff.

The location is close to the central train station.

The check in process was frustration. They only provide two options to pay city tax 5 Euros: bank wire transfer and PayPal. I don't have both. They texted me that they can take cash but their staff has to come to the apartment to pick it up in 15 minutes and I have to pay extra 20 Euros for that. That's ridiculous. I have travelled around the world and have never had this experience. Hotels in La Spezia and Pisa had similar traps that they take advantage over their customers to rob them through check-in process. By the way, their check-ins are all online but they first rob you then tell you the code to get in their apartments.

Location was good for both train station and the airport

It was super noisy when someone was entering, at 2am I woke up because someone was locking his door. Bed linen were not pretty maintained and it was dirty

Location is great close to the airport just a 13 minute walk.

It was quite the experience, first of all when you arrive you need to send the owner id and tourist tax. There will be a poster in the main door with all the instructions to send id on an email. Then call the owner and he is telling me send me the receipt of the bank transfer because he won’t open the door until he sees that. After that I enter and walk to the 1st floor. There were four key holders with locks. The one which the owner assigned to me was empty. There was no key. I called him and he’s asking me to wait. A lady was coming to sort the situation. After 5 minutes a lady comes with keys. Ok i think problem solved. But no she opens my room and find an utter mess, clothes everywhere and not cleaned. Ok then she starts to panic and calls the owner. She tells him what is this horror and disaster. He told her to check another room. She opens the other room and finds dirty linen. She was panicking, then called the owner again and told her to clean the room at 9:30 pm. This poor lady is rushing to clean the room and change the linens. I felt sorry for her but, they screwed up in the bookings. Overall a disaster, just needed a place to stay for a few hours to catch a flight in the morning.

Had to wait 1h for the personal to get to the hotel. Then we had to pay 20€ extra to get the key. If not the lady would call the police. We also had to send a picture of our passports to a guy at Whats App looking like a pornstar.

Staff was arrogant and for check in it took 2 hours to check in. No one was at location to check in and if somenone comes to hotel to check in I had to pay 20 euro for transportsion fee for that person which is redicilous ! What is more ; On the check in they requested more money and otherwise room was not given to me. And the bathroom was not in the room i have to exit room to common area to get in bathroom. Overall, Keep away from this hotel. With same amount of money there are many better hotels around!

Terrible , never want to experiece again in my life

Never got access

When I called I was asked if I had my documents. When I found the place in a very dark location , hard to find at 11.30pm it was in darkness. Didnt look good and only had a door bell. I ran f for about 30 minutes and nobody answered. I returned back to Airport and waited for it to open at 4am. No sleep all night. My plans ruined. I was extremely upset. At 6am I left the Airport and carried on by train to my next destination. I felt terrible and let down by Booking.com and the Residence.

Words do not express the total lack of service one expects from a hotel.

We had difficulty finding the location. as it was not on the street but up a laneway with no lights. No staff were at the property and we were requested to send a copy of our passports to someone to gain access to an entry code, all the time doing this in the dark with no lights. In addition, the bathroom was in a hallway and not in our bedroom. However, worse was to come when the owner knocked on our door at 12.30 am demanding 3 euro and refused to wait until the morning. Never ever again will we use that site and it gives Booking.com a poor reputation for teaming up with such amateurs.

Very poor

They had a good A/C in the unit

First of all they don't tell you about sending them your passport picture, so if you book make sure you do it over wifi. I have no cell service and we were stuck outside of the place that looks abandoned for an hour. Then the place is FULL of mosquitoes I got bit way too much in the corridors. Thank God for A/C which was the only good thing about this place. It was dirty, with blood on the bed sheets? Never even saw the owner which didn't make me feel too sure about this place. Never again, thank goodness we were only here for 1 night

Unclear checkin procedure having to mail id cards before receiving the code, feels a bit weird standing in front of a building that looks abandoned No Wifi code in the room. People banging on our door at 01:30 trying to enter our room in the midle of the night claiming its theirs. Bathroom is actualy not in same room but accesed via the halway.

Pleasant

The room is large and spacious.

I had trouble when I checked in. I couldn't call the host to let him know I arrive (my cell phone was under limited service). Finally, I used the public phone, so I could check-in. The restroom is separated from the main room. It is inconvenient to use it. Most doors are wood, so it made noisy several times when peoples come inside and go outside.

Exceptional

The room was so spacious and modern and the bed was so comfy. The building felt secure, needing a passcode to get in, keys for the floor and keys for the room. A bottle of water was also provided for my stay and extra pillows, tissues for the room and blankets.

A little bit annoying having 3 separate keys. Would have been nicer if the room and bathroom was somehow connected instead of having to go out of my room to go to the bathroom. The bathroom came with shower gel and shampoo however mine leaked all over the floor. The room also got quite hot but other than that, it was amazing. I didn’t spend much time there as I was out all day, every day.

Great stay

I will start with the people running the facility - the owner and her son are very nice and helpful people. They will advise where to eat (great Neapolitan pizzeria close to the apartment) . The location is great - 15 min walk from the airport, 6 min walk from the main station, 35 min walk to the leaning tower. The room is spacious, clean with comfortable beds. You have access to the kitchen and dining room reasonably well equipped. The bathroom is outside the room, but only for your room, lockable, clean, access from a common corridor. It's quiet, in the yard, you can't hear cars and other guests.

In April the building was not heated, it wasn't warm enough outside so in the evening it was cool in the room, take an extra pair of warm socks ;)

do not reccomend

we did not even get to check in, went and found the property which is not in the best areas especially in the night and rain. no answer when rang the buzzer several times or called the number provided. had to fork out and book another hotel as we were stood in the pouring rain, darkness and with all our luggage panicking. This turned out to be a godsend, complimentary drinks and service.
