Everything was awesome😘

We had a room with a private bathroom. It was very warm, with hot water and toiletries. The staff was friendly and checked us in much earlier (since we arrived at 10 a.m.). We also had everything we needed, including water in the room. The location is excellent, just a 15-minute walk from the airport and 15 minutes from the city center. If we're in Pisa again, we'll definitely choose this hotel again. Thank you for your hospitality.

Good place to stay but there don’t have parking spaces for all guest.

The property was well maintained and the location was good.

They started they have parking facility but they have only space for 2 cars. These spots were already taken by other guests and we were asked to park outside but there was No parking space available.

Fantastic room, spacious and comfortable. The staff was exceptionally kind and nice, waiting for us after office time, at night, to allow us to check in although our flight was heavily delayed. Very good location, at a short walking distance from the airport. Strongly recommended for your next trip to Pisa.

Excellent location for train station and airport, but a bit further for city sites.

We stayed in Villa Matilde in September 2023 due to is convenience to both the train station and airport and decided to stay there again in October 2025. I was surprised to see that it had been totally renovated as it had been taken over by new owners. This was a bonus. We were greeted by a friendly member of staff, who explained that there was now a small kitchen area that we could make tea or coffee and also use a microwave. They also leave out some croissants and biscuits for a quick breakfast- I don’t understand those complaining about this as they don’t say that they offer a breakfast in their pricing, it’s complementary. I also don’t understand people complaining about the distance from the city centre as it’s easy to check this on a map before booking - neither the Villa nor Leaning Tower have been moved! There are buses nearby too. We ate at Pizzeria Fratelli D’Auri on both visits, I’d recommend booking as it’s small. No more than a 15 minute walk to the station or airport so ideal if this is what you need. We often use Pisa airport as a gateway to Italy then go on train journeys around Italy so it’s a great location for our final night before flying home.

The hair dryer overheated within seconds of being turned on so wouldn’t work.

Our stay was absolutely beyond expectations! The room was incredibly spacious, modern, and beautifully designed. Everything was spotless — you could tell how much care and attention goes into maintaining the place. The bathroom was just as impressive: large, fully equipped, and recently renovated with a stylish finish. What truly made the experience even more special was the hospitality. The host welcomed us personally right in front of the property, which was such a thoughtful touch and made us feel immediately comfortable. They also went above and beyond by offering complimentary coffee, snacks, and bottled water — such a kind gesture that we truly appreciated.

The host was very helpful as soon as we arrived, giving us all the information that we needed. We had to leave early in the morning so the breakfast in the common area was very convenient.

I booked the room at the last moment. Staff were nice and very friendly. Great location by car. I was lucky to be the only one with a car and could park inside. It’s very narrow, and quite complicated to get in with two cars I guess. Comfortable room and clean bathroom.

Villa Matilde is located in walking distance from the Pisa airport, as well as the train station which makes it a great choice:) The hosts are exceptionally nice and friendly - it's been my second time there, and Maria and her family are the best! :)

Grand Villa Stay

The building itself is grand and unique, down a quiet street. Perfect location for to and from the train station. Our host was kind and welcoming.

Be prepared for quite a walk to the tower and to the busy centre of the city. (The walk itself is nice though!)
