Quick and comfy stay!

The owner was extremely nice and helpful, he showed us around the apartment and everything went really smoothly. The room had a great location, very near the train station and in walkable distance of an airport. The room had a private bathroom and shared kitchen, which was really nice. Highly recommend!

When opening the window you could hear the trains but it didn't really matter when the window was closed.

Clean and Comfortable but not what I was expecting

The guest house itself is very clean and comfortable and the owner is very nice. However, I didn't realise when booking that there would not be a manager/owner present at night and that rather than being a guest house as we would understand in the UK, it was a flat with three en suite bedrooms which were rented out individually and a shared kitchen/dining area. Being a lone woman traveller I did not feel completely at ease staying somewhere where the other rooms were occupied by people I didn't know and no landlord/landlady/owner/manager present. Also, there was a lot of noise from the flat above. The property is very near to the station so a good place to stay if you are planning to use the trains to travel out and about from Pisa but I found the immediate area to be run down and very dirty. I decided to leave after just 1 night instead of staying for the 2 nights I was due to stay. The owner was very kind and offered to move me to another property in the city but I decided I would prefer to go home. From this experience I have learned that in Italy a 'guest house' is not the same as a guest house in the UK and I would advise any single women travellers to check where they are staying to be sure they are getting what they expect.

A clean and comfortable place to stay for the night before our onward journey to the Cinque Terre

Meals were not included. The location was perfect: just down the road from Pisa Centrale Station. As mentioned in my earlier review, the owner was very helpful and accommodating, and allowed us to store our luggage at the premises after checking out, until it was time for our onward journey.

Great place to stay at Pisa Train Station!

Very basic room was nice, had AC, bed comfortable, kitchen area was well kept, owner was very personable, hospitable and helpful. I did not hear any train noise as some have suggested- If you want to be this close to station, this is the place to stay!

Close to train station, friendly host.

Claudio was a most welcoming and informative host. Location to the train station. Only one floor up.

Bathroom could have been cleaner and bath mat was minuscule. Air conditioner controls did not work. Needed to close windows due to the noise from the train-line, which we expected, however, rather warm night due to no air-con. A kettle in the kitchen would have been appreciated.

This hotel was convenient and welcome sight after a full day of travel. The proprietor was helpful.

The location is real close to the train station. Even though it was a busy street, it was still quiet enough for a good night's sleep. The shower was good sized too. There was also access to a kitchen and table if we had wanted to cook.

The smaller twin bed was kind of creaky and not the most comfortable. The double was great.

Wonderful Host, great communication, and a home from home.

A hidden gem. On the outside it looks pretty average but on entering the apartment it is like a home away from home. Bed very comfortable. Access to the shared kitchen was good. Very effective heating. Claudio was outstanding as the host.

A small table or desk in the room would be nice but one can use the table in the shared kitchen is fine.

It's out of season in Pisa so not many tourists. The weather was very cold and the apartment has no heating system. Claudio placed some electric heaters but it was not enough to warm the place. There is an electrical boiler with 60l water, we were unlucky and the warm water ran out. Overall we were very cold. I understand circumstances, but would not try it again in winter.

extremely convenient and comfortable

The rooms are super close to the train station and airport, perfect for a layover. The rooms are in a flat with a central kitchen and 3 rooms going off it. All the rooms have security locks and feel very safe. Our room was big and the beds comfy.It was to the back of the house and very quiet and had great aircon! The host was really nice and made us feel welcome. I get nervous when booking cheap options but the flat was clean and secure. The bathroom was clean and shower good. We had to get up at 4am to get to Pisa airport and its so close we walked there.

Our room had two doors, both had glass windows with curtains which was totally fine until the lights in the kitchen turned on and it lit up our room. The kitchen lights are motion controlled so if any other guests come home late or leave their room the lights shine into the room. We hung a towel over the door and it helped. Maybe some darker curtains could be installed. The other rooms have wooden doors so no problem.

The guest house was super close to the station, so it is very convinient if you travel from Pisa. But with a closed window it was really quiet. The room and bathroom was nice, clean and had lots of natural light. The host was also nice, he told us a lot about Pisa and what to see in the surrounding towns.

The kitchen could use some bigger knives.

Close to airport, railstation and town-Centre

Close to railstation(3min walk), and aprox. 10 min by car from the Airport. 10/15min walk to town-Centre. Clean bedroom and own bathroom. Central space with kitchen is shared with 2 other rooms. No problem. Payment only cash, but no problem to leave it in the room on departure!

Not good at all!!

Close to the train station

I booked a room with 2 double beds, it was false advertisement, none of the 3 rooms have 2 double beds. Everywhere else was booked out and had no choice but to stay and share 1 double bed. The neighbours upstairs are ridiculously noisy all night, forget about getting any sleep. Bedding is so thin and no blanket, asked for a blanket and was told no they don't have blankets, had to use my towel to keep warm.

Good location and clean :)

It's close to PISA train station (took around 3 minutes on foot and just straight walking). The room was clean and tidy. We use a triple bedroom and it was okay to open all the baggage (24 inches). There is air-conditioner which is necessary for summer. The owner is also very nice!

Basically, I don't have any complaint about the accommodation (price, location, cleanliness), but Pisa was lightless at night and it made us very anxious.

Capodanno a Pisa

La posizione è molto comoda, vicinissima alla stazione centrale e a pochi minuti dal centro. Inoltre Claudio è stato gentilissimo e molto disponibile. Il letto è stato comodissimo!

La struttura va un po' sistemata. Durante tutta la notte si sentono fischi provenienti dallo scaldabagno, la ventola del bagno fa molto rumore quando accesa, al piano terra si sente il rumore di funzionamento della centrale termica. Inoltre gli asciugamani e le lenzuola andrebbero cambiati, anche se puliti sono molto usati e si sente. Per ultimo, già la camera è un po' piccolina, magari delle lampade da comodino più piccole garantirebbero più spazio per poter poggiare le proprie cose.
