There was little bit dirt and damage which was reported to the host. Flooring in the living/kitchen area were a bit sticky.

It was in a great location not too far from local amenities

It was a great location, a short distance from the city centre and train station and plenty of local amenities, the appartment has everything you could need on holiday. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Do not book this place. Do not deal with this host. You will be scammed just like I was.

This is a SCAM – avoid at all costs. Booking.com should remove this listing immediately. This was not just a bad experience — it was an organised and deliberate scam. Just a few hours before check-in, the host messaged me to say the original flat I had booked was "no longer available" and offered a different one instead. The replacement was a disgusting, run-down flat in a completely different and much worse area — absolutely nothing like what I booked. It was so bad that my family and I felt unsafe staying there. To make matters worse, the host demanded an extra £150 “deposit” and only returned a small portion of it. He kept most of it for no valid reason, even after Booking.com themselves agreed to refund me the full booking due to how unacceptable the situation was. This is clearly a bait-and-switch scam. The host pulls this last-minute trick knowing it’s too late for you to find an alternative, and then profits off the scam by pocketing extra charges. It’s manipulative, dishonest, and premeditated. I’ve been using Booking.com for years and never encountered anything like this. I urge Booking.com to investigate this host and permanently remove their listings. Do not book this place. Do not deal with this host. You will be scammed just like I was.
