Mattress in the room i used dipped into the middle. Not supportive.
No dishwasher, not a huge thing but we ate in a lot with x4 constantly washing up and needed to be out early.

The property was very spacious with on street parking and close to bus routes.
Bedrooms/bedding all fresh and clean as were the bathrooms. Plenty towels provided for the bathrooms and the kitchen.
The entrance to the building and the stairwell were not very inviting - not very clean/run down.
Having said that, this is a second floor flat in a tenement block and if everyone else who lives there doesn't take/pay their share, there is not much the hosts can do about this, so this is a comment not a criticism.
The advertising photos were obviously taken some time ago as lounge carpet now very badly stained.
Also the £80 cleaning bill included at time of booking is unfair. The crockery and oven dishes were all dirty as was the oven - we washed the everyday crockery but did not cook. The host needs to check their cleaners.

Large flat with a nice side view of the Tay from the living room window. The flat was very quiet and had a peaceful feel. Great having two shower rooms.
Facilities were fairly basic. Would have been nice to have a dishwasher and a coffee machine. Furnishings are a little eclectic, I assume this is in the process of an upgrade. The beds weren’t particularly comfortable.
We couldn’t access any ‘normal’ channels on the TV, the remote didn’t work very well and the hairdryer didn’t work properly.

Great apartment, very close to the town center. Spent the weekend here with my Wife, Daughter and Son in Law, the apartment was perfect for us.
Some confusion regarding the keys when we arrived but we contacted the property owner and all was resolved very quickly with no fuss.

Steps up to our apartment (4 groups of stairs over 2 levels) meant that we couldn’t manage to carry heavy suitcases up to our apartment (we are both in our 70’s), so only bought up a few items that we could manage in some hand luggage. General state and condition of foyer was very off putting and felt dirty. As a consequence, even though our apartment was clean, it also felt grungy due to age of fixtures (old carpets and things coming away from the wall in the bathroom). Couldn’t get heating to work on our second night. Beds and pillows not particularly comfortable.

Great location especially with car. Parking free and no problem. In a good part of the city and close to local shops and restaurants. Huge and spacious and very clean. Comfy beds.
The only thing I can think is there was no bottle opener 😄

Enough space for a family. Absulate a fantastic place to stay for a break. Very close to natural view of the tay bridge. Walking distance of local shops and Riverside.
Only one issue was heating was on and off, which we had no idea how to control, and the ensuite water drain and buth tub water drain were blocked for a while.
Other than that, the flat was pretty nice and clean as well as within close amenities. Also, the owner of the flat was pretty helpful.

The apartment was very cold. We contacted the owner, pillow partners, booking.com numerous times by email to find out how to turn up the heat. There were no instructions in the apartment. Finally, 24 hours later someone replied that the owner would come over and show us how to turn up the heat. Nobody ever came. We were cold for our three night stay. Lighting was inadequate in all rooms except for the kitchen. Not enough light to read in either the living room or bedrooms. One of the shower drains was plugged up so wouldn't drain.

This property is managed by a company called Pillow Partners, who are horrendous to deal with. They were responsible for taking payment, but tried to do so in a totally unprofessional manner, requesting secure verification codes and PIN numbers over the phone, which no cardholder should share. Their personnel were often rude, and did not return calls when promised. Either they are a completely amateur operation, or running a scam to harvest credit card information.
The property itself was not particularly clean, had a rather tired decor, and a background smell of smoke, which the owners had tried to mask with air fresheners. The pictures are very skillfully shot to make it look attractive, but it does not live up to the standard expected.

On arrival on a cold October evening with 2 kids - NO heating or hot water!! Called emergency number provided and straight to voicemail. Someone called back later. However no-one arrived to look at problem until the next morning. There was no pressure in the boiler so obviously not checked prior to arrival. Phone call to owner as well which went straight to voicemail but no response that day or since!

The apartment was very spacious and light - it was cosy with good heating and hot water. Nicely decorated. Tv and WiFi worked well and kitchen seemed well kitted out (we didn’t have meals here).

This is a very comfortable two bedroom apartment in a great location. Two minutes from the beach and the Tayberry restaurant, less than five minutes to the shops on Broughty Ferry high street. We used it to visit friends in the’Ferry and explore Dundee.
Needs a colander in the kitchen and bed side tables. Could also use a welcome folder with details on bins/recycling/food waste, how to use the tv/central heating/washing machine & dryer, check out time, local facilities etc.
