The cottage has a lovely welcoming feel and is equipped with everything you could possibly need. Comfortable beds, a nice view and there is lots of street parking out the front. We used the cottage as a base to explore St. Andrews and the surrounding areas and it worked out perfectly. We particularly enjoyed the 18-hole Himalayas Putting Course at St. Andrews and dinner at the Tom Morris Clubhouse. Both are open to the public and the putting is a real bargain and lots of fun! On the second day we visited Glamis Castle - I would highly recommend this. On the third day we walked around Edinburgh before heading back to London - it was completely overrun with tourists, understandable at this time of year - we were very happy that we had decided to stay in Dundee and not Edinburgh.
The fact that we were only staying for 2 nights and not longer.

Good to have essentials provided for when we arrived. Host kindly advised nearest options for take aways and shopping before we arrived. Near bus stops so we travelled around on day passes on the bus.
