Good quiet stay in a clean and spacious place with a fair price.

Clean, spacious, nice view, quiet, good location close to the center and railway station.

The airconditioning in the second room was not working and we had not been informed about it. The pillows are not comfortable.

The apartment was in a quiet part of Stresa, with a balcony overlooking the lake. The railway station was easy to get to, but an up hill walk from the station and main part of the town

Plenty of space and clean. Great views across Stresa and the lake. Several Restaurants nearby others a 10 minute walk. Two nicely appointed bedrooms and two bathrooms!

Lounge and fold out bed in sitting room uncomfortable to sit on. Two sets of keys would have been good.

A 4-night stay in Stresa

The managing host was very helpful and responded to emails quickly, turned up on time at check-in and check-out. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the centre and the train station. The views from the large balcony over the lake and mountains are wonderful. Very quiet and peaceful. The apartment was clean and recently redecorated. The 2 bathrooms were large with good showers. Washing machine, oven, large fridge freezer and kitchen extractor.

There were some very disappointing factors which affected our stay. The worst one being the condition of the double bed which makes a terrible noise with the slightest movement, to the extent it disturbs the people in the adjoining bedroom as well as being most uncomfortable. A previous review also refers to this so it is disappointing that it has not been rectified. We arrived by train so had no option but to hire the linen and towels but the cost of €52 for 4 people for 4 nights was excessive in our opinion. The twin room was provided with a double sheet, when really 2 singles should have been provided. Similar properties that we have stayed at normally include linen in their hire charge. Only one set of keys was provided which meant we could not return at different times, a significant issue for 4 people. The emergency procedures were very poor in our opinion - no emergency contact details, no fire extinguishers or fire detection systems or instructions were visible, and the front door to the communal block requires a key to exit, which would delay escape in the event of fire, assuming you've actually got the key with you. Although there is a washing machine there was no iron or ironing board. No kettle, just a coffee maker which is no good for making tea!

J’ai regretté qu’il n’y ait pas de planche et fer à repasser sinon tout est parfait Le matelas du grand lit pourrait être meilleur . Il faudrait préciser les dimensions des lits et des oreillers car j’avais pris des draps pour 1m40 et une taie d’oreiller 65 x 65 comme la plupart en France Il serait hygiénique de prévoir des housses à matelas et oreiller ou de préciser aux futurs clients d’en apporter

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt

Sehr schönes Appartement, grosszügig und hell, geeignet für 4 Personen, es gibt sogar 2 Badezimmer. Die Zimmer sind gross genug, alles Nötige war vorhanden, es hat auch einen Balkon mit Sicht bis zum See. Der Bahnhof liegt in Laufnähe, auch zum See oder in die Altstadt gelangt man gut zu Fuss. Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter hat gut geklappt. Wenn wir wieder nach Stresa reisen, buchen wir wieder hier!

Wir waren im Mai zu Besuch, Nachts war es für uns etwas kalt in der Wohnung, Hausschuhe mitnehmen wird empfohlen ;-)

Ci vuole uno specchio nel corridoio,e il divano letto molto scomodo .Noi abbiamo prenotato per tre coppie ma il divano letto scomodissimo
