Beautiful yellow stone house in quiet setting but within walking distance of all amenities.
We absolutely loved the location being so close to Caen's historic sites, a variety of eateries and supermarkets. We loved the quiet location in the evening sitting outside in the garden. The house had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. The location is fantastic for fans of world war 2 history.
There was nothing we didn't like. We only had an issue with opening the front door. There was a knack to it that took about 15 mins to work out. That was probably just us!

Lovely apartment in an amazing location
Fantastic secluded location near downtown Caen. Lovely patio and spacious apartment. Comfortable beds, multiple toilets & showers, lots of dishes in the kitchen. Private parking was appreciated in the area.
Noisy construction right across the street starting early in the morning. Washing machine destroyed multiple articles of clothing with stains and holes — we received no compensation.

If you’re looking for a roomy accommodation in central Caen this is a good option. Pictures are accurate as presented. Easily within walking distance of everything. you would also be hard-pressed to find anything else that comes with a free parking spot on site.   we stayed in the city to serve as a hub point for exploring all of northern Normandy, including the World War II sites and other attractions.  plenty of great restaurants in this town within walking distance and plenty of historic sites to see right here. like the city itself, this unit is in a safe location.   it has a full kitchen, three total bathrooms, which consist of a full bath, a half bath with toilet/sink only, and then another half bath with shower/sink only.  it also has a large living room, which includes a sectional sofa that I believe Also has a fold out bed. We were a little confused about the number of bedrooms before arriving. However it is described, There are only two bedrooms that afford privacy with closing doors. There is a loft area on the second floor that connects the two bedrooms that has what appears to be a futon or daybed that could be used also for additional sleeping. But no privacy and it’s right outside the only full bath in the house.  and traditional beds. There are traditional beds for four comfortably, plus an additional one or two people on the fold out sofa in the living room, and then maybe another on the daybed.  Also, the two twins in one of the bedrooms both have trundle’s for an additional two sleepers.  in total you could fit a lot of people in here, but certainly enough room for a traditional size family of two parents, and two or three kids.  lastly, staff was very responsive to our inquiries during the stay.
The only issue we had, and this is why I gave it an eight for being comfortable, it’s the lack of air-conditioning, ceiling fans, or even fans you can plug into the wall. Our first night it was incredibly hot and we probably lost half a night sleep trying to get comfortable. However, by the second night we discovered that the windows, which do not have screens, can be opened from the top which allows for good ventilation, without exposing the interior of the apartment to the elements and insects of the night.  this is certainly not a criticism of this unit, because it is very common for hotels and rental apartments in France to have neither fans nor air conditioning, especially in a historic building that was constructed hundreds of years before the advent of climate control.  so just know going in there are no air-conditioning or fans, but if you can figure out the windows you can certainly get adequate ventilation to be comfortable at night. And, of course, this is only an issue during the summer months.  there are space heaters in every room for winter.

Very nice property, loads of room, extremely well presented
Very well furnished property. It is extremely well presented, quality furniture & appliances. Loads of space, including an outdoor seating area - which we used and enjoyed. Location is in a quite courtyard / road, next to a church. No disturbances at all. It was about a 10-15 mins walk into the main part of town (bars, restaurants)...so no big deal but perhaps something to be aware of if booking for someone with mobility issues. Parking was on site and free, so that was very helpful.
The rooms (upstairs) were quite hot, even with the windows open. There may have been fans in the property but I didn't see any and to be fair, I didn't ask about them. We stayed in June 2023 and the weather was mild but not overly hot...so maybe an issue if its mid-summer and upper 20s temperatures (again, I may have just not been aware of any fans etc).

Dejligt sted men tvivlsomt at man ikke kan komme i kontakt med serviceselskabet.
Fantastisk beliggenhed i en stille baggård. Dejlig indretning og hyggelig gårdhave. Gode mørklægningsgardiner i soveværelserne.
Det ligger tæt på centrum så der var noget støj fra nattelivet to nætter. Lagenet på sovesofaen var beskidt og ikke skiftet, og serviceselskabet var umulig at komme i kontakt med. Vi fandt selv et rent i en skuffe. Der manglede skærebræt i køkkenet. Garagen var meget lille og kun halvdelen af vores Tesla kunne komme ind, men det gik lige akkurat.
