Le Capella, magnifique maison au calme avec garage

The apartment was located at walking distance of Caen city center. Yet at night it was very quiet, which was very welcome to have good night of sleep. We could easily park our three (big) motorbikes inside a garage, which was located at a central courtyard, only a 25 mtrs away. The apartment was very convenient and fully equipped. We ate breakfast outside, on the cozy little terrace in front of the apartment. The host kindly suggested to meet upon arrival, but it was not necessary. All the required information on how to access the apartment, how to dispose of the garbage, etc. was shared with us through Whatsapp before we arrived. Also during the stay we could easily reach out to the host, who almost reacted immediately. The shopping at a small Leclerc shop, just a 5 mins walk away was also very convenient. I was glad we cancelled the hotel, originally booked and to choose this apartment.

I cannot think of anything. It is a perfect base camp for going on motorcycle rides to WW2 sites in Normandy and enjoying the convenience of the nearby city center.

It was lovely place to stay .

The garage was a bit small and no blinds downstairs or air con or fan .

The location is amazing and the entire house is well maintained! Private garage and courtyard is absolutely stunning!

The size of the rooms.

We were a party of 4, 3 of us had bad nights sleep every night due to the poor quality beds. The property needs some investment as it is looking tired - ref. condition of the furniture. .
