Excellent, nous avons aimer notre sejour, le quartier es tres calme, acces du tramway et bus tres proche. Notre host tres accessible. Nous retournerons l' annee prochaine si cest possible. Merci beaucoup. We enjoyed our stay very calm neighborhood, public transportation very close, (we had a car) but used tramway for the tour de france. Host very accessible, we will return next year if possible. John and Francoise

I stayed here with my dad, my partner, and my parents-in-law and we absolutely loved our stay. The pictures matched exactly how the house looked. Unfortunately it rained a lot so we only got to enjoy the backyard for one evening but otherwise it was spacious.Lionel was a wonderful host who went out of his way to make us feel welcome. He was extremely responsive to all messages and willing to come by and check on us if needed. Thank you so much!

Nice large house, very clean, beautiful outdoor spaces. Lionel and Veronique are great hosts. The location is on the outskirts of Caen which makes it easy to get to DDay beaches, Honfleur, etc. would definitely stay there again.

We loved this house! It was cozy and welcoming and had everything we needed including SPACE! After being cramped up in small hotel rooms, this was fantastic. Beautiful neighbourhood that was peaceful & quiet. Lionel was super friendly and a great host. The house had everything we needed to cook meals when we wanted to eat in - and a washer that worked really well! Only 1 note, no drapes/blinds to block out the light in the morning. I solved this by using an eye mask. Bottom line, great deal for what you pay and I will love to visit again!! 👍👍

We had a great stay in this house. The property itself was one of the best equipped holiday let's I have stayed in, everything you needed was on hand including cleaning products etc. There was lots of space for us and our children with room to spread out. There is a large open plan seating / games area upstairs which was a surprise and a great place to relax. I also liked the fact that it was filled with interesting decorative items which gave a really nice atmosphere. The house is quiet and private and the garden is nice for sitting out in the evening. We loved our time in Normandy, with great beaches and interesting history. I would thoroughly recommend this house as a base.

Great stay in a quiet neighborhood!

We traveled to the Normandy region for D Day ceremonies. Staying in Caen made for a little bit of a drive each day (typically between 40 min and around an hour and a half depending on location), but it allowed us to escape the crowds and start/finish each day with some enjoyable peace and quiet. The owners were impressively responsive and made every effort to ensure our stay was comfortable and painless - great property, well maintained and with plenty of space! Definitely recommend.

The house was very clean and roomy for 3 people. The location is quiet with a nice walking sport trail behind it. Close to a grocery store and easy to get to various tourist destinations. Our host has tourist information in the living room which came in very handy. Sitting outside on the patio was nice on a hot day. We would stay here again.

We stayed at this lovely home for 4 nights. It was in a wonderful neighborhood that was safe, clean and quiet. The house is super clean and well equipped with everything you might need. It had a washer and pretty outside area for meals and relaxing. I highly recommend it. We were close to many sites and visited Omaha Beach other historic WW11 sites. Two of the bedrooms are on the ground floor which made it very easy for our elderly mother to access the bedroom and bathroom. The upstairs was a treasure where the kids had a great time. I loved that all expectations were written and that we understood what was to be done before we left. Stay here. You will enjoy your stay very much!

This place was very clean. We were walking distance to food store. We arrived late, yet the manager meet us with keys. And arrived on the day we left right on time to collect the keys. I would stay there again. There was much room for six people.

This house is located in a nice quiet neighborhood with all the amenities that you would need within several blocks. The house has two bedrooms downstairs and a whole separate living area, bathroom and bedroom upstairs. This made it very nice since we were traveling with a little one that rises EARLY. Excellent communication! It is a mere mile from the highway and great jump point for sightseeing.

We spent 8 nights at Lionel's home in May 2017 and really liked this place. It has enough space for 6 people, so it was good for us (my wife, my daughter and me) . The house is clean and equipped with everything you need. Location is pretty convenient: walking distance to supermarkets, tram stop nearby to get to the center, 10 - 12 minutes by car to the center and really close to freeways (we appreciated it since we visited many towns in Normandy and Brittany). No complains about the home at all and we'd recommend this property.

Our family of 5 had a wonderful time and felt right at home at Lionel's place. The place is in a quiet, safe neighborhood and walking distance to Lidl. Our girls were just happy to run around in the backyard after a long drive. For us, it seemed the perfect central base for sightseeing. We drove from Germany to Etretat then checked in. The next couple of days we went to Le Mont St Michel, National American Cemetery, Omaha Beach, Bayeux Musem and Basilica. Lisieux on our way home. We didn't use the stove, dishwasher, and washing machine, but it's nice to have a fridge to cool drinks. Bring your own toiletries just in case you don't like what they have. In our case, the shampoo was empty/almost empty. The house was very spacious and clean; we didn't need to use the loft bedroom and bathroom. I was surprised we have to make the beds (put bed sheet, duvet cover, etc) on our arrival, but at least I know the linens were fresh and clean. Since I made the bed, I decided to clean after our stay to avoid 50€ fee as it was easier to strip off the beds than make them. We were given specific instructions what to clean and where to put stuff at. Lionel and Veronique were both very helpful and were easily contacted via SMS message. I have made a suggestion to have an information packet in English. The compiled binder they have looked informative but only in French. We definitely recommend this place to fellow travelers!

We had a lovely ten day holiday in this house near Caen. All the rooms were very spacious and we had plenty of room for 4 adults and a small child. The House is also very clean. We also liked the garden which was fairly big. The location of this house is perfect for visiting all the lovely places around the area. It's very close to shops such as Lidl (two streets away) and the Shopping Centre Mondeville which we can recommend for a nice shopping day. The D-Day beaches aren't very far away by car either. The area is very quiet and clean. All in all we enjoyed our Holiday here very much in this House and recommend it to everyone who would like a nice quiet holiday in normandy filled with sight seeing and a portion of shopping. Thanks again for a great time.

Customer friendly cancellation policy en english speaking owner. Enough room in the house ( beds a bit small for longer people) quiet neighbourhood, close to supermarket, basic fit qym. We took our bikes to visit caen. 20 minutes drive by car to the beach and lots of things to do in the area.
