Top notch!!!

Everything - perfection of a weekend spa getaway, it couldn’t get any better. We have around 6 spa weekend trips per year, and here the increased price is really worth it. Perfect rooms, amazing food, clean spa area with entertaining sauna ceremonies, lovely and overly attentive employees of the hotel… we didn’t feel like leaving.

Wonderful hotel for a break in nature

We had a fantastic stay at Falkensteiner in Schladming. The hotel looks even better in person than in the photos. The wellness area is amazing, and the food with our half board exceeded all expectations. Really amazing breakfast selection! Every staff member was extremely polite and helpful. A special highlight was the Herbstcard, which gave us free access to the cable car and several local attractions. Highly recommended!

Good hotel in the Alps

Nice room on the top floor with a comfortable bed, large terrace, great bathroom. Food was okay, less traditional rather international one. Breakfast rich. Wellness part was nice, bit crowded due to small size comparing the hotel. Parking in front of the hotel is fine. Staff polite.

Charging automatically 10EUR tip for the staff to your invoice, but if you claim, they remove. My point is that once you pay 500 EUR per night, I guess the owners should have enough revenue to compensate the staff properly and let me get the freedom to give tip, once I would.

Fantastic stay

Very charming and beautiful hotel. The staff was professional and attentive to every detail. The room was spotless and very comfortable. The location is perfect, close to the city center. Breakfast was rich and tasty with a wide variety of options. The evening menu was delicious. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking quality, comfort, and exceptional hospitality.

The spa area with saunas was only for naked people. It would be preferable to have a sauna option for those who don't want to undress and walk around naked.

We love staying here when diving through Europe

Love that this hotel is dog friendly and they go the extra mile with bowls, a dog bed, treats, poo bags etc. The night staff was great- we were a late arrival and they made sure we had a gluten free meal waiting in our room as the kitchen would be closed before we arrived. Clean room, great views.

I'm not a fan of the scent they use as I just want to breathe in the fresh air. The toilet seat was too small for the toilet bowl. Very minor things.

Absolute top-quality stay just a couple of steps from the Planai

The service of the hotel went beyond every expectation. The whole atmosphere of the hotel is charming. The room was comfortable, well-equipped, had a nice view from the balcony. The buffet breakfast had a great variety, and the 5 meal dinner was absolutely the finest dining experience, accompanied by a great service from the whole restaurant team. And last but not least the wellness, with a dedicated sauna area, sauna infusions offered 4 times a day, that is also a top quality. We were in the pre-season, but the price–performance ratio is absolutely great.

Would be hard to find any. Great service in every aspect.

Everything! When you enter the hotel it smells like a spa, decor is all wood and simple, tasteful decorations, the breakfast buffet fantastic, swimming pool area, the staff - super friendly. Hotel is DOG-Friendly, they provided us with a mat, dog dishes and a complimentary snack

Rooms & view. Inside areas of the hotel. Food at the restaurant. Location near the ski lifts.

Spa facilities: - too small for the number of rooms in the hotel. - no control inside the spa areas. Leading to drunken, loud people in the sauna. - no mentioned policy on the booking/ on the hotel's site/ during our stay about the mandatory naked policy the hotel seems to maintain. Very disappointed as this was the main aspect we choose this hotel for. Such nudity policies should be made available for future foreign guests before booking!

Pleasant

Hotel wellnes and hotel kitchen/food.

We required and interconnected rooms because of our 3 small children and they did not read the message therefore they originally put us in the 2 rooms far from each other! Then they put us in the one room all of us and then the other day they provided appropriate accomodation in two rooms. The moving was so unconfortable with 3 kids and all of the skiing equipment.

No relation between what you paid and the service they offer

The room was really nice! The lobby too, beautiful and comfortable. The Spa is also big and that is good if there are not so many people at the hotel. If not, could be a bit annoying. The staff was really nice.

There is absolutely not sense between what you paid (I paid more than 400 EUR the night at end of February) and the service they offer. That is why I criticize these points (because you pay for a five star service here): -the food is average. Dinner was included and you can tell that was not good quality at all. Also most of the breakfast. The raw materials were not good. -no one helped me with all my things when I got to the hotel. Even with the board and all the ski equipment. I did everything by myself. -I took a shower the first day, and when I got out of the tub there were no towels! I freezed. I had to dry myself with the robe.
