This was our second year in a row staying at Thalers Mariandl, and we’re absolutely thrilled

The staff is incredibly warm and attentive, going above and beyond to make us feel at home. The hotel sparkles with spotless cleanliness and stylish design that feels both modern and cozy. Breakfast is exquisite – fresh, varied, and a true delight to start the day. We also loved the option for homemade dinners, which were beautifully prepared and delicious. Our toddler was over the moon here, playing happily everywhere. We came specifically for the skiing, and thanks to the hotel’s perfect family-friendly setup, she took her very first steps on skis during our stay! We can’t wait to return next season.

One of the kindest staff members we have ever come across. Super helpful with everything. The room was modern, clean and spacious enough. Breakfast was amazing. Just enough of everything in a very good quality. What I loved the most was how welcoming it all is towards kids. We had a 3 year old with us and for example during breakfast we could play memo, do puzzles etc. , everything available in the dining area. It was raining so we were not able to use the playground outside, but definitely a good bonus. BTW they have a small play area even inside, a bit messy but full of toys and sufficient for our daughter.

Love this place, so chill and comfortable.

The room is spacious, the owners were friendly, the area is sooooo quite comfortable and child friendly. We enjoyed the outdoor play area and the sauna. Will definitely come back. Just be aware the room doesn’t have kettle or fridge if you have a young toddler or baby that still drinks formula.

Everything was perfect. Hotel is situated in nice and quiet location, rooms are spacious and nicely decorated, breakfast selection was great and staff was super friendly and accommodating. On top of that hotel is dog friendly and has nice yoga room!

We had a wonderful stay! The breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of options, including many local products. The atmosphere was cozy and peaceful. The host and all the staff were extremely kind and helpful – they explained how the Sommercard works and helped us save money on our trip to the glacier. The rooms were spacious and very clean. Even though we don’t have children, we noticed there are plenty of activities for kids both indoors and outdoors. Everything was just perfect!

Cute ski resort in Shladming

Thalers is a quaint, family run resort close to the slopes in Shladming. They were very accommodating and we enjoyed the morning breakfast included in the stay. The sauna area was also great, there are 3 sauna options to suit anyone's favourite!

It would have been nice to have tea/coffee area within the room, but it was in the common area which you have to pay for after breakfast.

Our stay, even though short, was amazing. We felt literally like in a family house and not in a hotel. Every detail was thought through! The food was amazing, there was plenty options of even bio local vegetarian products. Very well situated with a view in a calm area, where kids can run around.

Perfectly located cosy hotel

This hotel is located on amazing place, the architecture is beautiful and it's realy nicely furnished. The whole staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfest extraordinary and the diners were very good and tasty. Our room was spacious with very nice solution of relaxing "corner" alongside windows. Our dog was welcome, he could stay with us even in restaurant, which was highly appreciated by us.

Room was beautifully furnished. Excellent breakfast, selection from bufet and choices of fresh eggs on top. Sauna included with excellent views on the surrounding nature. Very welcome staff. Summercard included. This was one of the best accommodation we have ever been, will definitely return.

It is a family run business. Extremely nice, helpfull staff. They were extremely welcoming and stayed up for our arrival. Food was outstanding and great value. The hotel is small but has family feel to it. We felt very welcome and have tremendously enjoyed the stay.

There was nothing which we did not like. Just next time we choose slightly different room, bigger room, the sofa bed is for smaller children than 15 year old ones.

Absolutely fantastic stay with very friendly and kind staff

Fantastic breakfast spread, super clean and comfortable rooms, and incredibly friendly staff. They were very obliging in letting us leave our luggage in the store room prior to check in and after check out so we could maximize our hiking weekend trip. The sauna and tee salon were the perfect end to our hiking day. Would absolutely recommend to anyone coming to Schladming, and am already planning another trip back soon!

We stayed here for three nights, with our two year old son, and we loved it. Hotel in general is excellent, staff is very lovely and helpful, rooms are cosy, warm and nicely decorated, room views are outsanding, breakfast is delicious with plenty of fresh options, and the location is great. They also have an mobile app, which works great and was super helpful. Our kid loved every minute of staying here and spending time in front of the hotel where they have a great outdoor play area, and so did we!! Family who runs the hotel was very welcoming and friendly, so we really felt like home. :-)

The staff was great, attentive and helpful. The property itself was beautiful, modern, comfortable and most importantly pet friendly :) Location was great as well, couple of minutes by car to Schladming and to many hiking starting points. Breakfast was super good. Another benefit is the summer card being included in the room rate.

Very good and nice hotel, good atmosphere, large, bright rooms with a beautiful view of the mountains and a very good quality and varied breakfast. You can ski directly from the hotel's ski room to the ski lift.

designed for rest and relaxation after the sauna (space in the SPA) was a litle bit unfriendly and very brightly, without the possibility of correcting and adjusting the lighting.
