Super cute and fun honeymoon villa

Not enough privacy, I could see the other guests having breakfast in their villa while I was standing near the pool and they could see me, other areas it was really good Rock floor for shower definitely meant a bit of pain, maybe needs wider rocks?

Quiet and cosy hut in nature 🌿

Very welcoming and helpful stuff, cosy wooden balinese style hut (Albasia) 🛖, gorgeous view of the jungle nature 🌴 and private swimming pool. Also, good breakfast and room service for lunches and dinners. 🍲 Very quiet and private, we loved it! Special thanks to Nyoman, who was not just dedicated and nice, but also enthusiastic to give us advices, recommendations and helped us in so many ways! 🙏 He should me manager! 🤩

A little overprice for other standards... was simple (supercute) hut, but rustic, without glass windows, not superclean, and with old bathroom supply. Also, it was very humid (due to be very simple hut and no glass windows), so the bed sheets were a bit smelly (prepare for wet clothes as well). Aside from the huts and villas, the place look a bit abandoned in the common garden (big empty swimming pool), but they said due to some damage from heavy rain. Anyway, even this point is a plus for an even more private and quiet experience!

Amazing and unique place

Unique villa/room in a very peaceful part of Ubud. The view from terrace is amazing. Bed is very comfortable and I was surprised when I noticed there was a smart tv available in the room in where you can watch Netflix if you want. Staff is really friendly and helpful. Also, I expected to see many insects but didn’t see many.

Because you’re in a more remote/ quiet part of Ubud you’re far away from everything. Offcourse you can arrange some transport. (this will most likely be a car since motor Grab and Gojek are not common in this area I believe); if you have your own vehicle, even better. Not really options for food nearby so you’re depending on dining options they offer. They have a wide choice in dishes for the menu; local foods tastes better than western options.

The location is just amazing, it's amidst the jungle, but very close to different cafes, and spas. The hotel is wonderful, it's beautifully decorated, and we adored every bit of it. I can't think of anything to change. Thank you so much for welcoming us, and doing everything possible to help us enjoy our stay so much!

Very private place with nice view

The view from the balcony is amazing, breakfasts were very tasty- best we had in Bali. The floating breakfast was beautiful. Same for flower bath. The staff is helpful and you can easily contact them with whatsapp. Hotel arranges the trekking tour to Batur with reasonable prices and I highly recommend it. You can also easily rent the scooter and pay by card.

There is no restaurant- you need to eat in your room, spa also happens in your room- in fact there is no common space. The flower bath is also in your room with cold water. The wifi is poor quality and you need to wait long time for hot water. You have to sign the paper that you won’t use Grab or Gojek.

Beautiful, authentic, peaceful stay away from the business of Ubud, but close enough to for easy access.

We stayed here in the Royal Villa from 24/06-28/06 looking for a quiet romantic escape with a beautiful view for our anniversary, and our expectations were completely exceeded. The villa is located in a beautiful quiet area with one of the most incredible views of the natural jungle of Bali, and yet also only about 20 minutes north of Tegallalang and 30 minutes from Ubud. The staff are the best staff I have ever stayed with, and I want to congratulate each member for exceptional service in our time. Every request was fulfilled, every interaction was pleasant. Truly, this place is a hidden gem in Bali and we plan to return.

There was a leak in the roof when in heavy rain, but nowhere near the bed, and easily avoided.

A peaceful villa overlooking a jungle view 🌴🛖

The staff was exceptional in taking care of our needs throughout our stay and did the best to make sure that we were comfortable. They also did very well in organising activities for us such as tours, massages, and the flower bath (which was very beautiful!). Nyoman, one of the staff, was very kind and attentive to our needs. He made sure that we were enjoying and learning the local culture in Bali, which is an experience we will never forget. Kudos to Nyoman for his good service 😊 We also really enjoyed the breakfast every morning, which was always punctual. The villa itself was also very beautiful and comfortable, featuring traditional Balinese designs, overlooking a peaceful jungle view. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay in the villa and Bali, and would definitely recommend this resort to other travelers 😊

We arrived in the middle of the night during the Day of Silence, and someone was waiting for us to check us in. The staff was absolutely lovely. The views and pool are worth the price. We absolutely enjoyed our stay.

Hidden jungle gem

Firstly this place is absolutely gorgeous and in the lap of nature. You will hear sounds of other creatures which makes you feel like you are in your own little jungle which is very calming for a person who travelled from a super modern busy city. This place helped me detox and touch grass literally. The bath tub is so gorgeous and everything is so earthen which makes for a very charming stay. The location is a bit off beat but I think that’s the best part. No noise.. no crowd. It’s a great place to either start your trip or end your trip if you want relaxation and peace. Being this close to nature you will encounter/hear the other creatures that we share space with so keep that in mind while booking. I feel they add to the charm of this place. The staff is very helpful and attentive. 100 % would recommend

We had a bit of trouble with hot water pressure. The water is warm not hot and the pressure is a bit slow. I would have enjoyed the gorgeous washroom more if it had proper water pressure

Lovely place if the pool and restaurant were open.

Friendly staff who explained all the info about the room in detail. The bathtub and views were gorgeous, the room and bed were nice and comfy.

The restaurant was closed/being renovated, the pool was empty because of recent issues.. The staff didn't mention this upon arrival, only that meals would be served in the room which was odd but we didn't think anything of it. I went down on the property to find an empty pool, and only when asking about the restaurant later we found out it was closed, so meals came from elsewhere which explained why it took a long time. We decided to leave early because I was looking forward to laps in the pool with a river view, and having dinner in the restaurant instead of the room. I mentioned this to the staff as well, that I believe it's better to be transparent upon arrival, so we could have decided if we still wanted to stay. Instead they let us find out, and we left early. You have to fill the water yourself via a water dispenser on a different level which I fine, but I believe its part of the hospitality experience that guests have enough inroom water.

Paradise stay with perfect Budget

Like you own a presidential Villa that cheer up your spirit.. - Clean, Calm. - Thankful we didn’t see any lizards or insects during our stay. - Perfect private swimming pool and rice terrace views - Perfect bath tub - Good Massage (charged) - Perfect Floating Breakfast (charged) - Staff is very helpful, they also made a birthday cake for our baby boy although his birthday was not in the same day of our stay. - very comfortable bed and bathroom. - They provide whatsapp number for helping anytime.. - Perfect Wifi - Also we forgot something in the hotel, they helped us by transporting it to our near location.

- At night, you should be aware that you will hear animals voices as all properties in rice terrace area, but no much fear. - There were spaces in the big door, not fully locked, they have to solve this situation to avoid any kind of fear for their clients so we can sleep well :). - Basically, the swimming pool area was not totally private 100% on morning, that why I give this place 9 not 10, but was not a big deal.

WOW

On opening the door to our villa our breath was taken away by the pure beauty of the scenery and the villa itself. We had our own private pool overlooking the jungle. The property was quite remote however we loved walking and exploring the back roads around the place and saying hello to the locals and seeing all the animals. There was a communal natural water pool down several stairs that was lovely for a dip. Communication was made extremely easy with WhatsApp whatever we needed we sent a message and it was then delivered to our villa with a smile. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was large and had a huge comfortable bed and pillows. Semi outside bathroom was lovely. Loved loved, loved this place and the staff and would definitely recommend and stay again.

We stayed in Royal Villa. This is the closest to the reception and kitchen and because of this you can hear staff and kitchen noise. If we stayed in any of the other villas we would not have heard any noise at all.

Very friendly staff, perfect view of jungle and silent to rest. Beatiful pool if you want to make pictures but not really for swimming. I liked the hotel because we want to stay a view of a jungle. Rooms are big and clean.

Superb

The hotel is located next to the rice terraces, that is why it has an amazing view. We stayed in the King Bungalow and it was an amazing experience. The apartment is so big and totally in Balinese style. The breakfast could be better, the portions were not so big, enough for girls :). The staff is very helpful and kind, you feel in good hands. This hotel was our favorite during our stay in Bali because you feel like in the middle of a jungle! I recommend it!

A piece of paradise in the jungle

Everything! This was the most beautiful place tucked away in the jungle, the staff are so amazing and helpful they truly made our time in Magatama wonderful. The food was amazing, a really good range of different meals to choose from. Amenities were fantastic, the private pool was such a nice addition, the room had aircon, everything was just great. We didn’t want to leave! Highly recommend staying here, if not for the wonderful views then definitely for the wonderful staff. I hope we get to stay here again next time we’re in Bali
