Beautiful apartment, in perfect location, with a great host.

Location is amazing! A few steps away from the centre of Bakewell. The apartment was spacious, modern and had all the luxuries you would need for a short/long break. Host was friendly, informative and knowledgeable about the local area. We will definitely return.

The cleanliness could have been even better than it was to make a ten. The main bathroom shower screen had dirt around the bottom of it! This was a little off-putting. We found chocolate wrappers stuffed down the side of sofa and a couple of the kitchen cupboards needed to be cleaned inside. The dishwasher hadn't been emptied fully, so we did this when we got there. We were pleased to find the teaspoons in there for a brew 😀!

Had a very enjoyable couple of days with friends in fabulous accommodation

The standard of accommodation was excellent. Everything necessary & more was provided. It was extremely convenient for the town centre & the host was very helpful & friendly, with dedicated parking on site

the only slight criticisms would be lack of toiletries & no fan in the bathroom, but nothing else

The location of this property is superb as you can easily walk to several shops, bars and restaurants within the centre of Bakewell and it's also a great starting point for some beautiful walks in the Peak District. The interior of the property is high spec and it really does feel like home from home.

Exactly what we all needed

Stunning location with easy access to Bakewell. The accommodation was clean and well spec'd.

Shame it didn't have a recycling bin, but maybe they don't recycle in Bakewell!

Wonderful!

Perfect location. Beautiful property, only a few minutes walk to the shops and restaurants in Bakewell. Comfy beds and plenty of storage in the rooms. Our host was prompt with our keys and was very pleasant. There is a lovely, quiet courtyard to sit in and we were very lucky with the weather! I would recommend this property without any hesitation.

Some shower gel and shampoo in the bathrooms would have been a nice touch, but apart from that everything was excellent

We only had one set of wine glasses - which were huge. A second set of smaller glasses would have been welcome. Also, we had a kitchen towel, but would have liked a proper tea towel and a salad bowl.

Location was spot on, the town and the trails were a stones throw away. The accommodation was fantastic. Our host was always nearby if we had needed him.

The sofa was a bit too low for us getting up from it, but that's because we're knocking on a bit. Very minor issue.

10/10 would stay again

Had very clear timely communication with the hosts. A quick phone call was all it took to get the instructions to access the lock box. Richard was very clear, concise and welcoming throughout the check in, even though we arrived at 6pm. Bryce was also very helpful supporting us in settling in, through texts. The property is a gorgeous two bed holiday home, located just a stone's throw away from the town centre. Easy access to shops and cafes. Free parking on the property. The space was huge, the furnishings were all done to a high standard. Very clean. Very comfy. Easy to settle in. Kitchen was fully equipped. We especially loved the oven, dishwasher and Nespresso coffee machine. The bedrooms were spacious, lots of closet space. Large mirrors and TV each. Bathrooms were clean, good sized and great shower pressure. Overall would love to stay again!

Great location, easy walk into Bakewell. Very comfortable beds and pillows, so important! Good quality facilities. Very clean.

Needed to keep the blind closed in the kitchen, people walking right past the window regularly. Lovely to have a nespresso machine…but the pods were not nespresso, which was a shame. Only one rather thin toilet roll per bathroom, did not expect to have to buy extra. No toiletries in bathrooms, do remember to bring your shampoo and shower gels!
