It was a relaxing place surrounded with natural environment.

Open space in natural environment on 2 levels . Big living room and cosy room with clean bathroom . Very quiet and relaxing too.

The wooden stairs to access the 1st floor . Farmer next door burning his field , and private swimming pool too small and not so clean . Frogs concerto at night really load .

Highly enjoyable stay at this amazing villa looking over the ricefields.

We liked everything about this villa. Open plan ground floor opening up to our own private pool and sunbathing area.Looking over the ricefields - it’s a tropical paradise. Great food as well up the lane at the Mango Cafe -or get it delivered. We’ll definitely be back !

This is my second time staying at Villa Mango, and once again it has been a truly wonderful experience. What makes this place so special are the amazing people who work here – always kind, caring, and ready to help with a smile. The location is perfect: peacefully tucked away from Ubud’s busy traffic, surrounded by rice fields, offering the most relaxing atmosphere. The villa is always spotless and beautifully maintained, making it feel like home. The Mango Café is also a gem – everyone there is just fabulous and so welcoming. Saying goodbye was honestly the hardest part, because it feels like leaving family. Villa Mango is not just a place to stay, it’s a place to feel happy, cared for, and truly connected. Can’t wait to return again!

A delightful stay for our honeymoon

Stayed here for 5 nights for our honeymoon and loved every minute. The food was excellent, everything was reasonably priced and the staff were extremely pleasant. Would highly recommend to everyone.

It was overall a good experience, but do to our timing ( silence day ) we had limited experience.

We really liked the bed room, it was very big and had a nice large bed. We also appreciated that the staff was so friendly.

For us the pool had a little to much chlorine. And we would of enjoyed local food more then the options they had available.

Absolutely nothing

This villa was supposed to be a beautiful, relaxing stay—but instead, we feel completely ripped off and cheated. I wish someone had been this honest in the reviews, because we would have never booked this place. We booked for 2 nights (~$700 AUD) expecting a high-end, peaceful experience. Instead, we were met with poor maintenance, unhygienic conditions, safety concerns, constant noise, and a complete lack of basic amenities. Please look at all the evidence in my review! SERIOUS SECURITY RISK. The villa door cannot be locked from the outside, only from the inside. This means that when you leave, anyone (or anything) can enter your villa. This made us feel extremely unsafe. Severe mildew smell and dampness throughout the room—everything felt musty and unclean. MOLD ON THE CEILINGS—a serious health hazard that proves poor ventilation and maintenance. This is completely unacceptable for a “luxury” villa. Filthy upholstery on the bed and seating areas—stained, dirty, and unhygienic. It looks like it has never been properly cleaned. For the price we paid, this is unacceptable. Cobwebs everywhere. This villa clearly hasn’t been properly cleaned in a long time. If they can’t even dust the corners, how can we trust that anything else is sanitized? The dining table was visibly dirty—I had to clean it myself with wet wipes, and they came away covered in grime. This proves that surfaces are not properly wiped down between guests. Dirt, dust, and dead insects in multiple areas of the villa. The photos prove that nobody is cleaning these spaces properly. The air conditioning unit is installed behind a wall, with only a small gap for the cold air to pass through. This completely defeats the purpose of A/C, as most of the cold air remains trapped behind the wall instead of cooling the room. The design is impractical and frustrating. The bathroom sink was absolutely filthy, covered in grime, dirt and mould. It clearly hasn’t been properly cleaned in a long time.

Amazing! Highly recommended!

Absolutely loved this place! From the moment we arrived the staff rushed to the car to welcome us. The staff were so friendly and accommodating to any requests we had. The cafe was delicious, the room was exceptional and every detail was amazing. The inclusive breakfast we amazing everyday. The room was so clean and well taken care of. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Only con of this amazing villa is the location. With everything being 15-30 mins away, I would recommend staying a minimum couple days to enjoy the villa.

Absolutely beautiful villas. We stayed in two different models and both were special. The outdoor area is cozy and elegant. The rooms are impeccable and one of the friendliest resort staffs I’ve ever encountered. The food was top notch and has good variety. Super quiet location smack dab in the middle of rice fields.

It’s a bit out from Ubud center but is only a short taxi ride that will cost you in average $4.50

Beautiful property. The staff were very friendly, helpful and receptive. Putu was also very good in particular and came by at short notice when something was required. The cafe/restaurant area is also very beautiful and the food is to a good standard too

Few issues on a couple of nights with dirty bedsheets. We were told it was clean when done and looks like gecko poop but there were no geckos I saw inside our bedroom the entire stay. All the geckos were outside in the main room. The Mrs was scared of them so couldn’t really utilise the tv in the main sitting area at night. The pool area, although inside, isn’t very private as somebody outside it was cleaning up or working the field but could clearly see through and said hi whilst I was in the swimming pool. Because of this my wife couldn’t enjoy or use the swimming pool either.

Exceptional

Great Villa, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of Mango Ubud Villa. Everything about the villa was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great for breakfast & dinners value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future. I recommend everyone to visit the Mango Ubud Villa.

Good place but the food isn’t the best

The place is amazing and the pool and facilities really good.

The food from the villa is not the best and they don’t communicate between staff which made us a little bit frustrated. They keep going to our villa all the time for everything which we could easily communicate by WhatsApp.

Amazing place & wonderful people

Very clean villa and friendly staff. Service was perfect and food was nice. They were available all the time on WhatsApp to help us with any inquiry we have with instant response. The villa itself was very spacious and even better than the pictures and surprisingly not a lot of insects or mosquitoes although it’s immersed in greenery

We thought we’re getting the 2 storey villa from the pictures but found we’re getting the 1 storey so double check with them which one you’re getting. However we were satisfied with the 1 storey and even felt more comfortable in it

Good and new villas beds were comfortable and very clean.

Didn't like the service of the staff, strange attitude of the security guard and front staff (always asking us where we are going). They offered to arrange a tour which we accepted only to realize they were making money on top of the tour package. check out they asked to inspect my luggage which I have never experienced before. Facilities are great but would recommend you to arrange transport through gojek and for sightseeing look for local tours such as Bali natural tours (prices are clearly given upfront)

Stunning villa which makes leaving so hard!

Stunning 2 bedroom villa in a stunning location overlooking the rice terraces! The on-site cafe is also exceptional serving a mix of western and local food and lovely coffee! Finally Bayu and his team are so attentive and considerate nothing is too much for them.

I loved everything about this property! The villa was absolutely amazing! The staff was so helpful and lovely. The villa was clean and spacious and had everything to enjoy your vacation.

The only thing that was maybe a bit uncomfortable was the construction behind our villa - the workers could see you relaxing by the pool. But hey, this is temporary inconvenience. Also if you left any food out in the kitchen area, there would be an ant invasion. As there were only two sets of plates and glasses and cutlery to use, it would have been nice to have a sponge or sth to wash them with.

Nice But Flawed

Fantastic staff - attentive, efficient and friendly. Well-appointed facilities. Tranquil setting. Clean. Inconsistent but overall good food. Decent value.

Villa 'kitchen' mostly for show as no cookware, crockery or microwave. No smoke detectors anywhere, despite abundance of fabric curtains and wooden fittings, as well as use of electric insecticide vaporisers Rooms felt insecure as there are various open side gates, flimsy bolt on villa door and no way of securing lower bedroom from bathroom entry. Poor drainage, which made living area floor dangerously slippery during heavy rain. Nearby (70 m) goose farm which is sometimes loud and smelly. Constant invasion by little critters (inevitable, but may be an issue for some). Two bedrooms are completely separate, so not great for families with small.children. Wooden stairway to main bedroom slippery in rain and poorly lit.

Very modern and nice villa

The villa is very modern and stunning. We enjoyed our time there. Staff is very friendly and attentive. There were no animals/insects besides small lizards. Breakfast options are healthy and diverse.

Breakfast can take very long because of other guests (not staying on villa). The rice fields are not always like on the picture, in our case they were already burnt and view wasn’t so nice There is a duck farm nearby and they are noisy especially in the morning. Noise from constructions we heard only ones Taxi mafia annoys a lot, app taxi doesn’t come because they are afraid and mafia charges 5 times more. If you offer a taxi driver in an app and offer 20k more for a trip- they will come and it will be still cheaper. Hosts could be more friendly and welcoming

peaceful spacious villa with fantastic staff

loved our villa. all in one level (some are on 2 floors) very private and peaceful staff are excellent. enjoyed breakfast and lunches from Mango cafe delivered to our villa. it’s about 5 min drive into town and reception will organise a taxi. we arranged thereafter direct with the lovely taxi driver. would highly recommend.
