The villas are beautiful and spacious and very private. The private pool is wonderful. Staff was very friendly, spoke great English, and quite helpful.
It is a bit removed from Ubud. Not many places to eat nearby.

The property was clean and tidy and was smelling really good when we entered.
The staff was super helpful and were always smiling. The pool was very well maintained and clean as well. They have shuttle services to ubud market as well and were kind enough to give me an umbrella for the day

Nothing
This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had, and I strongly advise other travelers to stay away.
The villa was in very poor condition, nothing like the “luxury” described in the listing. There were clear, visible holes and gaps in the roof structure – not “light reflections” as the property may claim – and as a result, insects and small reptiles such as lizards freely entered the room. During the night we could hear them crawling across the ceiling, and there were ants, butterflies, worms, and spiders inside the room itself.
To be clear – this is not about being close to nature or staying in the jungle, which we fully expected and enjoyed elsewhere. Right after leaving this villa, we stayed at Agastya Villa in Ubud, also in the jungle, and there were absolutely no such problems there. The difference is simple: that villa was well maintained and clean. This one was not.
The room here smelled damp and was not properly cleaned. When we found a worm inside the bed sheets, the staff gave us new ones – but even those were stained and felt unwashed.
Basic comforts were also missing. The water pressure was so low that there was barely enough hot water for one short shower, which is unacceptable for a villa that costs €100 per night. The doors and windows did not close properly, leaving gaps everywhere and making the room feel unsafe and exposed.
What made the experience worse were the endless warning signs all around the villa telling you what you must not do, which gave the whole place a hostile and uncomfortable feeling rather than a relaxing one.
We left after the first night, despite having paid for more, because it was impossible to sleep in these conditions and we no longer felt safe or comfortable staying there.
This is not a real “jungle experience” – this is simply a neglected, poorly maintained property being falsely advertised as a luxury villa.

Staff was very welcoming and greeted us warmly.
We we very well looked after. The hotel had a shuttle service into town several times during the day and evening which made it easy and safe to travel back an forth. It was a short drive into Ubud and we really enjoyed being a bit away from all the noise and busy streets of "down-town" Ubud. Having our own refreshing pool was amazing. The water was the perfect temperature after a hot day. Staff would often check in with us to see if we needed anything or if we had feedback. During the end of our stay, staff arranged special breakfast for us, we felt very valued and comfortable at Anusara Luxury villas.
I cannot think of anything I did not like about this place.

Very spacious room, plunge pool was lovely to have to relax and swim in. Location out of town and surrounded by rice fields, not far from local village.
By having such amazing privacy and private pool area, there are walls which prevent airflow into the room. There is a fan and air con although I would have loved some fresh air to pass through the villa.

I liked the location of the property and the infinity pool in the honeymoon villa
We had the booking for 2 nights but the booking was cancelled due to some technical issue and the overbooking of the property. We had to change the property for one night which was very hectic. We were not notified about the cancellation untill we reached the property. But they did our upgrade of the room or free which was a good gesture!!

Nice stylish villa, beautiful nature
The staff ruined the entire impression of the hotel. We got the impression that we were in a prison, and the staff were our prison guards. We were constantly being commented on. They did not allow my friend to enter, she came to pick up things and did not stay long in our villa. They ruined our mood. Do not recommend this place

Greta value for money, very helpful staff, nice landscape around the location, rice fields nearby.
there are limited services and no common facilities, eg a changing room in case you check out and then come back for your luggage. hot water in shower does not last long. location was secluded which is why I chose it but guests need to be aware (10 mins free shuttle to Ubud at limited hours).

The bathrooms were pretty (although there was only enough hot water for one bath and there were 2 rooms in the villa) and the pool view was nice.
EVERYTHING ELSE! There were sooooo many shocking incidents and we felt like the staff did not take responsibility. The mistakes kept happening up until we left. Here is a brief breakdown

The staff is extremely friendly and help us a lot in all our extra needs such as transfers, massages etc. The location is good, walking distance to few restaurants and markets. The pool is quite nice and great for relaxing after a day of tours.
The outside bathroom is charming but not always practical. We got some rainy days and it wasn't exactly easy to go there... The shower wasn't working during the 3 days we stayed there. We complained but they didn't fixed in time. Bathtub was working though.

The staff were very friendly and it felt like being part of a family. The service was very quick and good. There was even a free shuttle available to Ubud at certain times, which we really liked.
The hotel also organised a driver, Agung Putra, for us when we traveled further. We went on a tour with him for a good price and we really enjoyed learning more about the people and the culture from him.
We would gladly stay there again.

The staff are exceptional and tend to every need at a moment's notice, nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast was fantastic, and freshly cooked to order each morning. The rooms and hotel ground are immaculately kept, and is a very peaceful hotel away from the bustle of Ubud town. We stayed in a villa with a private pool and the room was fantastic. Very spacious, well lit, and sockets conveniently located. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ubud, and what great value for all that is provided. Brilliant!
The private pool could do with being heated as Ubud is a much cooler climate and as a result had a VERY cold pool.
