If you are looking for something way out that has nothing then this is the place, but take everything with you as its literally in the middle of know where.we only stayed one night and had booked more as there was nothing to do and the pool was at one villa not ours so you felt like you were swimming in their pool

Uma Giri is the place for you if you want seclusion but in a somewhat central location in Ubud.

Uma Giri is beyond what I expected and read in the reviews. We wanted seclusion and we got it. There are only two villas on the main property so crossing paths with others is not common. The outdoor bathroom is straight out of a magazine.

It was beyond expectations and we wouldn't change anything. Enjoyable from all aspects.

There was a dead mouse/rat in the room and no compensation was offered to us. But one has to count to animals/insects in the areas like Ubud. The restaurant has limited options for dinning.

Everything. The Villas (only two) are magnificent. They are surrounded By Forest and ricefields. So nice. There Are animals of course, because the Villas are in the nature. We had the pool to Share. The Villas are really large. Book it, if you have the chance to. I highly recommend the Villas.

There are a lot of stairs to go to the villas, I think like going down from the third floor and up to the third floor. If you cannot do this, do Not Book. But normaly it should not be a Problem. We liked the Little walk through the nature. The Continental and the american breakfast ist not so good.

The access to our villa was really challenging especially with my old parents. So many steps to get to the property both up and down and really high steps.

Best villa we have ever stayed in

This place is beyond any expectations! It is a huge domain with jungle and river, with only 4 beautiful spacious villas blending in perfectly with the nature. The views over jungle and rice fields are unforgettable. Service is kind and exceptional. Absolutely recommended.

We didn’t mind but be aware that it is quite a walk to the 2 bedroom villas but it actually adds to the experience!

Picturesque, but frustrating

It is a beautiful setting amongst the rice fields, very secluded. However they don't tell you you have to go up and down a gorge (150+ steps) to get to the villa

There is no room service & no on site restaurant. These facilities are still have advertised on Booking.com & their own website which is very misleading

A special & unique accommodation experience. Fantastic staff rounded out the whole experience.

The location in the rice fields & views were incredible! The staff, especially Dwi, were so warm & welcoming & helpful & always had a smile. The pool was beautiful - right in the rice fields, & was especially enjoyable & peaceful at night. The beds were comfortable & the property was nice & clean. The Villa was very spacious (2 story - the size of a whole house). Especially loved the downstairs bathroom open to the internal courtyard, an authentic Balinese luxe vibe complete with beautiful rice field views out the little picture window. A great location away from the hustle & bustle of central Ubud, & easily booked a Grab car for transport to town & back. Mango restaurant just down the road was also an excellent option for dinner within walking distance.

We were initially surprised with the distance of the walk to our villa, but ended up loving the peacefulness of walking through the beautifully paved rainforest - complete with frogs croaking in the ponds at night.

Overall very good

I like the area of the villa, it is very natural and healing. Although it is 3 kilometers (25 minutes' drive) from the center of Ubud, the unique rice field scenery in Ubud is still worth it. The villa is very peaceful and suitable for enjoying a peaceful holiday. . The service staff of the hotel are very enthusiastic and it was a wonderful stay experience. I will stay at this Villa again in the future.

Breakfast is a bit simple, but there is a Mango restaurant about 3 minutes' walk from the villa, so it's still bearable. In addition, we have to go through a valley and walk up many steps from the lobby to our room, which is a bit inconvenient for the elderly or people with leg injuries. Everything else is great!

Awesome villa, surroundings and staff. Worth the hike for those who can physically do it.

The villa was outstanding. It was very spacious and so nicely decorated. The nature and rice fields all around us was just wonderful. A perfect place to escape from the craziness of downtown Ubud. Even though the Villa was far from town, there were several restaurants nearby. The staff was also very attentive.

The scenery is breathtaking but guests need to be aware that to reach some of the villas you have to deal with several stairs and quite a hike through the forest. It was great exercise for us...but at times, especially in the heat, it proved to be a bit of a strain.

Relaxing location close to Ubud, directly in some rice fields

Located directly in a „jungle area“ and in some new and old rice fields you feel to be in the jungle as well as in the hectical city of UBUD, which is a 15 min Gojek/Grap drive. Super friendly staff which helps you with everything and always smiles (!), they are preparing breakfast for you and there are only max 12 persons as guests. We had probably the more older villa and you need to walk up and down a small valley, they are carrying your luggage, but its nothing for elderly or disabled persons. The pool in the rice fields is super relaxing when you come back from a city tour. They help you with food delivery services, as there is no restaurant in the villa, a small Warung in 5 min distance which has superb food is definitely a recommendation

The rooms are quite „dark“ maybe some fresh paint could help to make it even more friendly.

The staff are friendly & very responsive! There's a short walking distance to the villa, the staff are very helpful & assisted us with our bulky luggage in/out. The villa situated in the middle of paddy field, nice view, quiet and peaceful place to stay in.

We have uninvited friends (birds & small snake) during the stay. However, the staff assisted us very quickly when we called up. The cleanliness at the kitchen can be improved.

it was a beautiful villa amongst rice fields lush plants and a huge warm pool. the outlook made you feel relaxed

the kitchen was not up to scratch and the time it took due to traffic to get into town was too long. there were spiderwebs in the bathroom and no conditioner. the kitchen tap was broken, looked like the place hadn’t had any maintenance

Most amazing stay in Bali

Amazing jungle resport. Villa was spacious and much nicer than in photos. All area surounding and the pool left us speacless. On top of everything staff is so friendly and helpfull, you fell like they can arrange all you need and beyond. Special thanks to mr. Pande who helped us with outlr transfer issue. Bit remote from Ubud, but ir was an advantage, stll easy and cheap to reach by using Grab or scooter.

Would chose Batur villa next time, as Baturan is on the walkway to other villas (althoug there is separate path) and some times feeled not so privat with people walking past open windows.

Plenty of privacy with fabulous view. It is a very long rainforest walking path to the property. Which is an unique experience worth to try.

A beautiful location. Not the greatest area to go walking. Very spacious accommodation. The staff were accommodating with the use of the shuttle. You need it to get into ubud centre. Very comfortable bed. The $10 breakfast is pretty average. A great cafe down the road called Mango we found does very good food and coffee
