Great location for all that you need from the area. Ours was a 2 day stop but enough time to confirm the beds were comfortable and we slept well, until sunrise. Everything you needed was at hand and instructions regards the stay were simple and straight forward. Communication was 2nd to none,we were fully briefed before we arrived by the host and again when we arrived which was on point. If you needed it he knew who would be able to provid the service ( massive ticks). Would I use this place again for our next venture to venice thats a yep all day long. Local shops close at hand in both directions of the apartment. Eating in that area is again faultless without the crowds. Go and visit qhere ever you want in Venice but return to San polo and relax.
It needs window coverings as when the sun came up so did we. Didn't expect the steps up to the apartment 4 flights but even though we didn't like them, STILL wouldn't put me or my family off returning.

Once in a lifetime special experience staying in a 15th century palace. Relaxed owner who added to the vibe. In a local feeling neighbourhood. Very pleasant walk to attractions, which added to our overall experience rather than detracted. Able to check out the other areas of the palace which was very cool. Aircon worked well.
The stairs up are really hectic, but it's from the 15th century, you can't expect a lift. I recommend getting a luggage porter to help you get your bags there and up and down the stairs. Best €30 I ever spent 😂

It was like something out of a fairytale. A dream come true.
Not that I I didn’t like it, but just to be aware there’s a lot of steep stairs up to the apartment.

This is a showroom for a designer of classic-eclectic furniture and there are price tags on many of the pieces. The bathtub is very deep and very comfortable.
Although advertised as having air conditioning, the manager stated that since the temperature outside was less than 25 Celsius, it was not going to be turned on. The minibar is an empty refrigerator and the manager stated that it is fine to drink tap water. The coffee house on site is over the bridge, turn right and go down two blocks on the left. The manager refused to accept cash for the city tax which I believe is illegal. The beds are the most uncomfortable beds I have slept on in Venice. The sheets are cheap, thin and do not fit the bed. Because there was no air conditioning available and the manager opened the windows as a means of cooling, mosquitoes buzzed and bit me all night long. The only goal in having this space is to make money while trying to sell furniture. Hospitality is not even an afterthought.
