No mirrors in any rooms. Not a major issue just the wife likes a mirror for doing her hair etc.

The lock box with instructions on how to use the key was good. Bed was comfortable and shower easy to use. Great location for catching the bus into the city and a supermarket across the road. Modern. Host always helpful and contactable.
The front door lock was a major issue. Once we got in, we couldn’t get out. Had to get the owner to come and open the door. It’s a known problem and hasn’t been fixed. Very stressful being locked in a house and you can’t get out. Major fire hazard. Had to ring owner to find where the towels were located and the hot water switch. Boiler was in a cupboard that needed resetting. There needs to be an instruction book on what to do and where to find things to save you the stress of contacting the owner continually. She was always helpful though which was a bonus. Plus no toiletries available.

Very close to the venue we were attending so location was great and fit for purpose. Beds were comfortable. The lady was good with her correspondence about the house and very quick to return the deposit.
Was expensive to stay on the shore road especially considering the house wasn’t the cleanest. The kitchen floor was a bit grubby and there were lots of cobwebs in different areas in the house. Think £150 bank transfer for the deposit is a bit steep too.
