Centrally located pool and beach front
Wifi & TV never worked in the room despite asking maintenance several times to fix it. Hotel nesr discotheques, loud noise during the nights is really uncomfortable.

The hotel is centrally located. We really didn't have to go anywhere. Restaurants, bars, live music. There is a 24 food/snacks/drinks next to the hotel. The staff were SUPER helpful and cordial. Also, you can order drinks/food at the hotel restaurant and they'll bring it to you.
I gave a low rating in the cleaning because, although the floors were clean the bathroom wasn't. We stayed for a week and although they made our beds the bathroom needed a more thorough cleaning.

The location of this hotel is the best thing going. It is right in the heart of Zicatela Beach but was quiet for sleeping and it is right next to a great restaurant called Elephant Garden. I was hoping to use the pool area (which looks like the best feature there), but ran out of time. Internet is so so if you have to work. There is drinking water provided in the hallway to fill water bottles, but none in the room. Staff was kind but not overly friendly. The room was clean, but several issues upon check in.
The first room they gave me the keys for was "cleaned" but smelled like someone had just lit up a joint, so I asked for a different room. The gentlemen who helped me with my bag could smell it and called down for a new room. They luckily had one, which seemed ok upon walking in, but there was several issues. The bathroom lights were more or less non-existent (not working or horrible or both) so I basically showered in the dark. Also the glass shower door didn't line up or close properly and therefore caused a huge puddle when I showered. There was just a random roll of toilet paper on the top of the toilet - no holder which is weird for a middle range hotel. The air con leaked a lot of water that spread all over the floor of my entire room. I do not mind a firm bed, but the beds were so hard that I was sore in the morning. There was a coffee maker in the room, but no coffee or anything so it was useless. The phone connection to the front desk barely worked and very full of static.
