I was here for two nights when traveling solo to the area with my motorbike. The hotel is in a big Bavarian-style building, modernized in the interior with all comforts, but retaining the traditional aura you may be looking for when visiting this lovely region. The staff is nice and welcoming. Very comfortable big single room, with sitting area, working table, tv, serious wardrobe, very large single bed, large bathroom with heater also in the warm season (ideal when traveling by motorbike in the rain...), stylish wooden furniture and with all conveniences. Modern elevator to get upstairs. Very nice spa, with sauna, steam bath, silent room and outside thermal pool (heated). Fantastic location, isolated in nature, secluded yet very easy to reach through a dedicated access road, with a gorgeous panorama! Good food in the evening, and very rich and high quality breakfast. I would say, a perfect stay, apart from the horrible weather :) I will definitely consider staying here again, if I will come to the area another time.

Brand new hotel, only been open for 3 weeks. On the whole very nice, but some things are missing/not working. Hopefully these will be sorted out in due course.
No bin in the room. Bathroom light is automatic, has no off switch and is on a 15 minute timer! Difficult if you need a pee in middle of the night and you end up waking everyone up. Please add an off switch or reduce the timer to 1 minute/30 seconds! Room temperature control was difficult. The panel didn't seem to work and the room was way too hot! Had to sleep with both the window and balcony door open to cool the room (in October!).

Der Aufenthalt im Unternberghof Ruhpolding war ein absoluter Genuss. Die Ausstattung des Hotels ist sehr wertvoll, ich habe mich rundum wohl gefühlt. Das Personal war unglaublich zuvorkommend und das Frühstück sehr gut mit allem, was man sich wünschen kann. Die Lage am Berg ist unglaublich und läd zur Aktivität und/oder Entspannung ein. Der Spa-Bereich ist sehr schön gestaltet und bietet mit Dampfbad und Sauna, beheiztem Außenpool mehr als genügend Möglichkeiten, um abzuschalten und sich in einem formidablen Ambiete zu erholen. Danke für die wunderbare Zeit und die tollen Tage, ich habe es unglaublich genossen und werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Es war einfach rundum perfekt!!!
Das Frühstück war, wie alles andere auch hervorragend, von Allem die größtmögliche Auswahl. Ein Tisch zum Essen war immer reserviert, so dass man nicht suchen musste.
Dazu kann ich leider gar nichts sagen, da es nichts gab, was uns nicht gefallen hat.

Die Lage und die Ausstattung, sowie das Essen, der Wellnessbereich und das super freundliche Personal haben mich sehr überzeugt. Die Umgebung bietet eine Vielzahl an Wander- und Freizeitmöglichkeiten. Ich hatte einen tollen Aufenthalt in einem wunderschönen Zimmer!

Das Hotel ist toll- wunderschöne Zimmer, tolles Frühstück, super Pool und nette Sauna. Super ist die chiemgau Karte, man kann tolle Sachen umsonst unternehmen (Hochfelln, unternberg, Inzell Sauna …)
