Friendly stay

I liked the stay a lot. We were the only guests in the house that night. The friendly staff lady made us fresh breakfast the morning after - pancakes, scrambled eggs and other things. Very nice of her. Our dog was welcome, children as well. Our room was very comfortable and big, I slept very well. Also very clean. Rooms look exactly like in the Fotos.

A perfect weekend escape.

Very comfortable and cozy interior. We enjoyed the wellness offer and available board games. Breakfast selection was amazing. You can tell the place is run with a lot of love.

Extremely comfortable and peaceful for families!

The hotel is easy to reach by car and train - Ruhpolding train station is a short walk away. We rented the family apartment on the top floor and it was quite spacious and comfortable for us (5 adults + 1 child). The little kitchenette had basic amenities: pots & pans, bowls, an electric stove, a coffee machine, an electric kettle, cutlery & crockery, glasses, salt & pepper. There's also a fridge and a little sink. The bathroom was large and roomy. The view from the balcony is lovely! We had a very comfortable stay and would definitely stay here again.

There's hardly anything that didn't meet our expectations. Maybe just a few quick suggestions from our experience. The kitchen stove on the counter didn't work, but we didn't enquire about it either. On the other hand, there was an electric stove in the cabinet which worked fine, so we could still cook. I guess another stand to dry towels in the bathroom corner would have been great for us since we were 5 members with limited places to hang up our towels to dry.

Outstanding stay!

This is a gem of a hotel for visiting this part of Germany or on your way to other areas. We were very happy with our short stay and found it exceeded our expectations at a great price which included breakfast. The room is very clean, large (family room), beautiful, and with wooden trim and carvings in traditional German style. The kids slept on the pull out couch which was good. Wi-Fi was perfect and the room was cool even with no a/c. Breakfast was very good and the host was helpful and nice- I highly recommend a stay here!

Very minor issue- but would have preferred sheets instead of a comforter as it’s summer but not a big deal.

The host was friendly but when we checkedin we said we didnt speak German - he replied that would be a ‘problem’. His English was actually fine and it wasnt a problem but the initial comment was a little off-putting.

Exceptional

Nice, easy parking at the hotel. Excellent location, walking distance to town (restaurants, cafes, etc.) and Chiemgau Coaster. Rooms were beautiful and very clean. Beds very comfortable. Delicious breakfast in a beautiful dining area. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. We loved having the Chiemgau Card to visit the local attractions for free. This was our third time staying here and we’ll definitely be back!

Das Frühstück war fabelhaft. Alles da was man sich wünscht.

Leider war das Zimmer etwas kühl. Lag vielleicht daran, dass bei der Ankunft die Fenster noch gekippt waren. Und leider war zur Zeit unseres Aufenthaltes die Sauna außer Betrieb, muss repariert werden (war aber zu verkraften :-))

Gute Unterkunft zum Skifahren

Sehr nette Unterkunft für ein paar Skitage. Geräumige Zimmer, ausreichender Skiraum und freundliches Personal. Frühstück war in Ordnung. Chiemgau Karte ist für Familien mega.

Leider wurde das Frühstück erstattet 8 Uhr serviert. Zum Skifahren etwas zu spät. Wasserkocher im Zimmer wäre super.

Es sind alles sehr nette Leute die für Fragen ein offenes Ohr haben, wenn es um Tipps oder Hilfe geht. Die Aussicht auf dem Appartment ist einfach wunderschön.

Unterkunft lag in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße, aber sehr zentral City Ruhpoldings. Style Landhaus,sauberes Zimmer mit Balkon, gutes Frühstücks-Buffet.

Eigentlich nur Kleinigkeiten. Uns fehlte Müsli oder Haferflocken zum Frühstück, dafür waren aber viele andere Sachen zum Frühstück, die wir nicht unbedingt gebraucht hätten. Unsere leeren Wasserflaschen wurden einfach beim saubermachen entfernt. Fernseher hatte nur 4 Programme, wurde aber nach Reklamation am nächsten Tag ausgetauscht!

Für eine Nacht ok, aber dafür eigentlich zu teuer.

Die Lage ist gut, denn man läuft 7 Minuten ins Stadtzentrum und für eine Nacht auf der Durchreise war es akzeptabel.

Das große Appartement ist nicht für 4 Erwachsene geeignet. Es ist eher dunkel, der „Elternschlafbereich“ ist durch eine holzwand getrennt, die aber nicht bis zur Decke durchgeht. Hätte man sich auch sparen können. Die einzelbetten sind für Erwachsene zur kurz und die Matratzen waren absolut durchgelegen. Das Frühstück erscheint im ersten Moment sehr reichhaltig, leider ist aber alles von minderer Qualität. Der Kaffee war ungenießbar.

Wir waren zwar nur eine Nacht dort, könnten uns aber auch vorstellen, länger dort Urlaub zu machen.

Wir waren zu früh sind aber trotzdem nett und freundliche empfangen worden. Uns wurde alles Notwendige gezeigt. Es wurde nur für uns die Sauna und die Infrarotkabine angeschaltet. Das Zimmer war extrem groß und wie es für diese Gegend üblich ist, rustikal und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Großes Bad mit Dusche und Fenster, auch sehr geräumig und sauber. Leider konnten wir das Frühstück nicht genießen, weil wir sehr früh weiter gefahren sind.

Perfekte Auszeit auch für einen kurz Wochenende

Perfekte Lage so dass der Ortskern ganz bequem zu Fuß zu erreichen ist. Ruhrpolding bietet eine Menge an kulinarischen Möglichkeiten und Richtungen. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Auch der Hotelchef war sehr aufmerksam und gab auch eine Menge Tipps perfektes Frühstück. Alles super.

Ausbaupotential vorhanden

Die Lage war ruhig,aber doch zentral. Frühstücksangebot war sehr gut.

Die Freundlichkeit des Personals war leider nicht vorhanden. Auch schwer bei Belangen zu erreichen, trotz angegebener Telefonnummer am Eingang. Die Kinder haben auf einer Ausziehcouch geschlafen, wo leider sehr die Metallstange am Rücken zu merken war. Wir waren nur zur Durchreise eine Nacht vor Ort. Also eher eine kurze Momentaufnahme.
