Relaxing in a perfect location

The location is right in centre of the village. the rooms and beds were very comfortable. Very modern and clean got Netflix and prime in your room. And lovely hearing the church bells behind the hotel. And the best view from our windows

The breakfast was good but could be excellent if there just added some sausages and white sliced bread.

I could live here!

The room was large with a king-size bed, very nice with a large tub/shower combo. Had a beautiful living room area to mingle. The breakfast was perfect and open till 11 am. The town was very charming and great to walk with restaurants, bakery and shops. I could live there!

Honestly: the hotel itself is nice, but the user experience with the IT system is a disaster.

The hotel is clean, the breakfasts are decent, and we really appreciated the dog-friendly approach — from bowls in the room to special towels for dogs. The location is excellent, and parking was hassle-free.

The check-in was the worst experience I’ve had at any hotel. The website doesn’t work properly if you’re using a Mac with Safari, and on mobile devices, it can’t handle cookie blocker banners. It seems nobody ever tested the Apple Pay option either. Due to the hotel switching to an app-based system, there is no reception, so if you run into issues, there’s no one on-site to help. We couldn’t open the door (thanks to the app!), but luckily we managed to reach the owner by phone. The hotel advertises EV charging, but the price per kWh is nowhere to be found — in the end, I was charged €1.33 per kWh, which is twice the cost of fast charging on the highway.

Very good

Breakfast was great - hot and cold varieties, crispy croissants, etc. There is even a pancake machine - you can get little pancakes by just clicking a button! Last day some jam bottles were empty but the kind lady waitress brought a little jam bowl to our table after we told them there are some empty bottles. Hotel manager was also super polite and helpful. Overall, very nice experience for a long weekend. Rooms get cleaned everyday and there is enough space for large baggage as well (2 big vintage cupboards in the room)

Hotel location is in a very calm area - maybe it's us not knowing the area well but if you look for some spots in a more lively area, that's not the place :) But if you look for quiet, calm and peaceful location, you'd be happy.

We liked the excellent location of the hotel right in the middle of the village, but still it is very quiet and peaceful. The hotel is beautifully renovated and furnished, it is bright, nicely decorated, and the rooms are very spacious. There is a very large south facing terrace with a beautiful view of the huge garden and the surrounding mountains. The garden is artfully furnished with different seating areas, a playground and fountain. The walking, hiking, and biking possibilities right from this hotel are endless and right on your fingertips.

This is a beautiful hotel right in the centre of Ruhpolding. You dont get mountain views but you're walking distance from all the facilities. Due to covid restrictions you have to book a time for breakfast. The rooms are beautifully decorated and well equipped. I would recommend this hotel for couples.

The breakfast is really nice and well served. Room is clean and the bed is very comfortable. Location is also very good, right in the little town's city centre, with many restaurants around. perfect to go to Chiemsee (20 min drive to the north) or to the Alps.

I think it is important that new employees are trained, but the way the managers were calling the attention out of the employees in front of customers was a bit unprofessional.

Erholsam in schöner Umgebung

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt im Hotel The Townhouse Ruhpolding. Das Zimmer war sauber und gemütlich, und das Frühstück war wirklich toll – große Auswahl und alles frisch. Besonders hervorzuheben ist Ihre Mitarbeiterin beim Frühstücksdienst: sehr nett und zuvorkommend, das hat den Start in den Tag wunderbar gemacht. Einziger kleiner Wermutstropfen war für uns der fehlende persönliche Kontakt an der Rezeption; alles nur digital zu regeln war etwas ungewohnt und wir hätten uns an manchen Stellen ein freundliches persönliches Gespräch gewünscht. Aber insgesamt waren wir mit allem sehr zufrieden und würden das Hotel weiterempfehlen.

Das alles nur digital abgewickelt wurde. Kein persönlicher Kontakt, außer mit der Mitarbeiterin beim Frühstücksdienst.

Der elektronische Tür Key war etwas nervig…. für jede Tür einen eigenen Code. Wäre toll gewesen für uns mit 2Zimmer Schlüssel Codes zusammenzustellen So dass jeder von uns zwischen den Zimmern pendeln hätte können.

Zimmer direkt im Flur am Fahrstuhl und der Waschküche Buffet wurde nur langsam nachgefüllt, Personal könnte schneller reagieren, mussten 20min warten bis neu aufgefüllt wurde Zimmertür war nicht bündig geschlossen, dauerhaftes Licht vom Flur im Zimmer Umständliche Smart-Nutzung, mit einer Hotelkarte ist man einfach schneller und flexibler

Schön, Zentrale Lage, Sauber und gerne wieder

Alles sauber, das Frühstück war richtig gut und ausreichend: Brötchen, Brot, Joghurt, aber auch Rührei mit Bacon auch dabei… für jedes Geschmack!

Muss man unbedingt das Handy immer dabei haben und das Parkplatz kostet noch 10€ extra.

Zentrale Lage in der Ortsmitte. Blick aus dem Zimmer in die Berge. Sehr freundliche Servicekraft beim Frühstück.

Keine Gartennutzung oder irgendeine Sitz Möglichkeit im Freien. Ein normaler Kaffee (schwarz) sollte zum Frühstück kostenfrei sein. Keine Klimaanlage.

Gutes Frühstück, schönes Zimmer, schöner Ausblick, nettes Frühstückspersonal

Alle Türen lassen sich nur per hoteleigener App lösen. Das war etwas ungewohnt. Die Frühstückszeiten sind anders wie bei booking angegeben erst 7:30 Uhr anstatt 7:00 Uhr.
