Lodge was great, it was clean and spacious.
The resort was well kept and had a lovely restaurant and bar. The location was really easy to get into York and surrounding areas.
The hot tub was a lovely little extra too.
Will definitely be returning.
No iron or hair dryer, and had to ask a few times if a cot and highchair could be supplied (which it was thankfully) but we had to build them up out the boxes ourselves on arrival.
This wouldn't put us off returning thought as we really enjoyed the lodge and our stay, I would just remember to bring our own next time.

Not sure the hot tub had been cleaned as when we got there was hairs and scum around the hottub

Large lodge
Lovely grounds
No bedding for sofa bed and only one pillow when two of us using, only 4 towels when 6 of us staying, hot tub not working properly, water kept going down. Felt general cleanliness could have improved. Blinds had rip in them from previous occupants.
