It was perfect!

We didn’t book for another night

We stayed here as we were attending a wedding nearby at Clayfield Farm. The lodge was very clean and beautifully decorated. There was two children and two adults staying and it was perfectly big enough for all of us, especially with having two bathrooms. The customer service was excellent too. We noticed some ants near the sink on the first evening (as others have commented) but after sending a message after hours,, someone was round in less than 5 minutes with some baits, and we didn't see any more for the duration of our stay. I'd definitely stay here again if I was in the area.

Lovely lodge, clean and tidy. Loved the hot tub, and the free breakfast was fantastic!

The kitchen was missing a few bits that would have been helpful, and there were ants in the kitchen, but we put this down to the hot weather. Some instructions for the cabin would have been appreciated.

Location great, lovely grounds. Quiet.

Unfortunately we had no hot water or heating during our stay. As it was after 7pm we could not contact anyone about the issue. So it was cold and cold showers. Reported the next morning but we were checking out. No offer of compensation . There should be an emergency number to contact after hours. For the money we paid you don’t expect that.
