Stylish, Comfortable Stay in a Great Location I had a wonderful stay at The Cottage Farm. The interior is beautifully decorated with a calm, luxurious feel throughout. Small touches like mattress heating, heated towel rails, air conditioning, and full-length mirrors made the space extra comfortable. The shower, with its dual heads, was a standout feature, and the private patio and quality coffee machine added to the overall experience. It’s also very well located – quiet, yet just minutes from Stellenbosch restaurants and attractions. A great balance of comfort, style, and convenience. I’d happily return.

Spacious, luxurious room with lovely view. Stunning.

Lovely spacious room that looks out onto a patio and garden. Huge bathroom with a shower and bath. There is a small coffee area that has both a microwave and toaster and utensils for eating on the go. Extremely useful.

The number outside the house is not visible at night ( I think it’s silver) making the property difficult to find. The two chairs in the room are quite low and would be very difficult for older people to get out of.

What a gem

This was such a spacious and nicely decorated place. Located next to the owners house, but with a lot of privacy. Good location when going to the vineyards. Really clean and lovely dogs who love to say hi!

The room has more than you need, fully equipt for anything you would want. Has a private parking, nice distribution. Even of you would like to check if something is missing probably you will find it in that place.

I loved the room,the structure,the roof and the vintage yet modern touch of the room.

The fact that they gave us only one gown whilst i booked for a couple. And no toiletries,only a shampoo. And also a heads up please provide your guest foam bath or bubble bath as it helps with easy washing of the bath tub which helps with those stains on the bath.

Lovely stay, in a very accessible area

The no 9 on the keypad did not work, so my guest struggled to get in. No cloth in kitchen area to wipe down the counter and work space in kitchen area was very minimal. Lovely large plates but they dont fit in the microwave so warming up food was a problem. A TV would have been a great addition. Comfy bed, lighting was great and the area was super clean.

Nice quiet location, lovely green setting, super spacious room with deck / patio and swimming pool access. Huge bathroom. Solar power so not affected by loadshedding, wifi stays on which is super important. It was very quiet when I was there.

Disappointing that there was no coffee machine as per the photos in this listing. This was one of the reasons why I picked the place. Only a jar of instant coffee was in the room which is not a real alternative in my view. I messaged the host that evening and asked if I could get at least a French coffee press . Unfortunately, I only got a response the next day to say the coffee machine broke the previous day. There was no French press available. Anyone liking and missing out on their morning coffee will understand my frustration :-) It felt more like an airbnb rather than a "guest house" as I didn't see any staff around, only a phone number to contact. FYI, the main house also seemed empty the night I stayed so not sure if anyone live there or if that's a rental too. I found it inconvenient in the evening when it was dark, as a solo traveller, that the entrance gate opened with a code for which you had to get out of the car and punch in a code rather than use a fob. Similar for the entrance door. Additionally to using a key, one had to punch in a long/complicated code to open it. Not convenient when your phone's battery just died and you didn't memorise it! FYI, there is also a connecting door in the room to the main house which I didn't notice this in the photos. It was locked obviously but I was surprised to see it.

The apartement was super nice and very clean. we felt very comfortable and enjoyed our stay a lot.

for us it was a bit difficult to remember and type in the door key combination. other than that we have nothing to complain about and would recommend this place.
