Quiet location. Easy walk into town for an evening meal. Warm greeting from the hostess. Free parking. It was cheap and convenient
The fluffy sheets and pillow cases were not to my liking. I have not come across a kettle that boils the water and pours 1 cup full automatically. I wasn't keen on that. The tea and coffee provided tasted awful.

Good location, convenient and fairly quiet. Had everything I needed for my stay. Little contact with owners, but that was evident when making the booking. No meals were provided, but a good range of possibilities in the nearby town.
No complaints. I'm not sure how smooth getting access initially would have been had the proprietor not been gardening when I arrived; it might be worth a specific word saying they guarantee to be in when you arrive, or some other arrangement for getting the room key, but this is emphatically not a complaint.

The location was well away from the town centre ( approx 1 km) but conveniently, only 10 minutes walk to the railway station which was the reason we chose this accommodation. Breakfast was not offered but basic tea/instant coffee facilities were available.
More comfortable bed linen ( cotton please!) and a better sized handbasin in the en-suite would have been more appropriate.
