This location was central to where we wanted to be and was clean and warm.

Perfect centrally located airbnb room in a safe and walkable area in Lugano. The hosts were friendly and communicated all the amenities and surrounding attractions. We arrived to a clean and warm setting that made us feel at home. I would stay here again!

Memorable Stay

1. Location was at the centre of the town. Everything was stone's throw away only. 2. Check in was extremely smooth as the key was to be collected from the opposite side hotel front desk. The front desk was very helpful, special reference to PATRICK. They provided us complementary travel voucher also. 3. Rooms were also comfortable. 4. Daily basis complementary room cleaning was an extra advantage.

Nothing as such. Only one thing although the apartment housed a kitchen facility but there was no proper cooking utensils. On being asked, told that kitchen was only for food warming and not for cooking. Strange!!!. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

Rooms were really small , one room quite unusable due to very low slope of the attic.. though it is an apartment with cooking facilities but there was no cooking utensils except a small pan to boil water..

A very pleasant stay, great service!

The staff is fantastic, very friendly and very helpful! The place was very clean and the location was superb. The staff fulfilled our additional requests blefore our arrival - we didn't need to remind or ask additionally.

The attic apartment is.. well.. in the attic. It felt really small. The ceilings are very steep so a significant part of the apartment space is not really usable. But it did not bother us as much as we anyway spent our day outside.

It was a very good stay.

The airconditioning can cool the living room but not the bedrooms. It was 30+ degrees both days of our stay. Keeping the airconditioning running all the time somehow also kept the apartment cool when all bedroom doors are open and window curtains are closed.

Great location, fine for a short stay or single person

Great location right next to the lake, shopping street and plenty of restaurants. 10 minute uphill walk to the train station.

The air conditioning was too weak, it could not cool down the apartment on hot days which made for uncomfortable nights. Also the bathroom is extremely small, your knees touch the wall in front when using the toilet, and you have to leave the room to dry yourself after a shower.

Lovely Apartment with Splendid Cooking Appliances but NO ability to cook due to NIL Kitchenware !

The apartment was wonderfully located in the centre of the city with a Co-Op Supermarket very conveniently next door. Also just a few metres from the lovely lakeside promenade & Luganos’ via Nassa main pedestrian /shopping street. The apartment was spacious, clean, comfortable, quiet & nicely furnished with goof Wifi & accessible via a lift. Communication with the property mostly prompt & good instructions on arriving at the property.

I booked this apartment because the description read“ The apartment's kitchen, which has a refrigerator, is available for cooking and storing food.” However we quickly found this this description was NOT correct. The kitchen was certainly well appointed – modern fridge / microwave / full 4-burner induction stove top + oven – DISSAPOINTINGLY it was NOT equipped for even the most BASIC food preparation or SIMPLE cooking. The ONLY crockery comprised of just 4 small bread & butter plates ! Cookware comprised of just one, small, lidless saucepan, a sieve, grater & chopping board. There was a pair of scissors & some cutlery, an abundance of coffee mugs & glasses but NO other cookware or utensils. No ovenware ensured the oven could not be used. There was a coffee machine but NO electric hot water jug – preferring tea we had to boil water in the microwave. There was NO tea towel or kitchen cloth for wiping the sink etc. We like to be able to prepare a simple, cereal & fruit breakfast, make up a roll for lunch whilst sout sight-seeing + the convenience of being able to prepare a very simple meal if required. I questioned the receptionist regarding the significant lack of kitchenware & utensils etc. & was told “...cooking is not possible…!" ie certainly discouraged !!! I came away very puzzled as to why an apartment has such a lovely kitchen but no ability to cook etc. ??? 2 bowls, a tea towel & dish-cloth were promptly delivered to our apartment after requesting same, following my polite query above.

Great location, but don't expect a spacious apartment if renting the attic

Location was very convenient, only a few metres to the lake, and with a Coop Supermarket nearby. The receptionist at Hotel San Carlo (opposite) from whom we picked up the keys, was extremely helpful in showing us the apartment and answering questions. An elevator provides access to the 4th floor beneath the attic apartment.

Be aware that this is an attic apartment - many other reviewers have commented on the very low ceiling in the main bedroom (this is really only suitable for storage, or maybe as a bedroom for small kids). For a couple the apartment is OK - we slept on the sofabed in the main living area. The bathroom is definitely not suitable for people of larger size. Also, you need to haul suitcases etc up a flight of stairs after exiting the elevator on the 4th floor.

Very nice stay

The location was perfect, 10 m to the lake. Easy access to the train station and literally in the centre of the city. Very cozy, very bright and clean.

The roof is quite low in the bedroom (which, of course, is to expected in an attic apartment). The bathroom door did not fully close. A bit cramped.

Very nice and small apartment in the best location of Lugano. You have shops, restaurants and the lake in walking distance. The staff was very kind and helpful. Even when the apartment is small, you have everything what you need and it was very clean. We were glad that there was an air conditioning as well.

Superb

Very good apartment. In good conditions- furniture is good, toilet/shower is nice an clean (very nice hand soap and shower gel provided). Excellent location close to both parts of the town. Keys will need to be collected in the San Carlo hotel which is next building to the apartment. Reception was very welcoming, informative and kind. Upon arrival we were given tickets which gave a discounst for teleferics.

Wundervolles Apartement

Wir durften eine Woche in diesem wunderschönen Apartment in der Altstadt von Lugano verbringen und sind rundum begeistert. Die Lage ist einfach perfekt – absolut zentral und dennoch angenehm ruhig. Die Promenade, zahlreiche Cafés und Restaurants sowie die Bahn zum Bahnhof sind in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Besser geht es kaum. Das Apartment selbst ist geschmackvoll und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen und wie zu Hause. Alles ist hochwertig, modern und gleichzeitig sehr gemütlich. Die Sauberkeit war aussergewöhnlich – wirklich äusserst gepflegt und makellos. Es gab jederzeit genügend frische Tücher und Toilettenpapier, und der Cleaning Service war zuverlässig und diskret. Auch der Fernseher mit der grossen Auswahl an Kanälen hat den Aufenthalt zusätzlich angenehm gemacht. Ein grosses Kompliment auch an das gesamte Team: Die Mitarbeitenden waren sehr freundlich, herzlich und professionell. Die Rezeption war stets hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend, und alles hat reibungslos funktioniert. Wir haben uns die ganze Woche über unglaublich wohlgefühlt und waren wirklich glücklich, dieses Apartment gebucht zu haben. Für uns war es die perfekte Unterkunft – wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder!

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, ebenso die Küche. Insgesamt herrschten Ruhe und eine angenehme, entspannte Atmosphäre. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, antwortete stets zeitnah auf unsere Nachrichten, hiess uns herzlich willkommen und servierte uns einen ausgezeichneten Kaffee.

Im Apartment war zwar eine Küche vorhanden, jedoch fehlten grundlegende Utensilien, die eigentlich zur Standardausstattung gehören sollten. Es gab weder einen einzigen Topf noch eine Pfanne – man konnte sich nicht einmal Eier kochen. Zudem war nur ein einziges kleines Messer vorhanden, das nicht einmal zum Schneiden von Brot geeignet war.

Nada a reclamar, o apartamento é excelente, dois quartos, aquecedores em todos os cômodos, como fomos no inverno foi bem importante, literalmente no centro de Lugano, descendo o elevador você já está no centro. O apartamento estava limpíssimo quando chegamos.

Localização excelente!

O apartamento é muito bem localizado! Fica em um prédio a alguns metros da edificação principal, mais perto do lago de Lugano. Os quartos são confortáveis, sala ampla, o banheiro é muito bom, com várias comodidades, chuveiro excelente e cozinha bem equipada! Local muito silencioso e de fácil acesso a restaurantes, café e atrações. Fizemos tudo a pé. Quando chegamos o funcionário deixou que guardássemos as malas na recepção e quando voltamos para o check-in, outro funcionário nos acompanhou até o apartamento nos ajudando com as malas! Voltaria a me hospedar lá, com certeza!
